This call from 08/01 has tremendous potential of becoming the #1 call in the thread. It is currently number 2, second to the intial call of the thread.
How do you figure ? When thorn posted his call S&P was at 1306, we then went to 1220. I remember well because I gave him hell about calling a top after a 20 point decline.
It's very subtle. The call that he made was a very good one. But, he used the term "many" when he described how many months the call was good for. The dictionary describes the word "many" as being a large indefinite number. When I was a schoolchild, our math teacher told us that "many" started at 18, while "few" and "several" began at the number 3 and above. So while his call was very good, it's a subtle semantic reason that my call challenges for the number 1 slot. I have also called for 1360 now in another thread which would be a tertiary target. If that target is or isn't hit, it would not affect this call that I made. So in summary, Great call Thorn, but there is potential for my call to challenge here.
Where the hell has Thorny been. I figure he's on a big vacation along with all the other heavy hitters this time of year. Hey Birdy cmon back this place needs some livening up.
Yea, yea, just make a call for us TO POOP ON. Place the target then promise to leave if not hit. Think of the ratings, ahh the ratings.
At this point everyone should know that when thorn says "top", take it to the bank and take the premium $old (sept 1325) too.
I made this call on wednesday with the S&P @ 1307, and the sept 1325 calls @ $2.25. A single day later, the calls are trading @ $.50. Thorn i$ money in the bank.
