S&P breaks down their sectors into 59 industries. Is there a source that lists the symbols for these 59 indexes that can be loaded into a real-time service page to monitor intraday?
Hi, It's great to hear that you are interested in sector/industry trading because that is exclusively what I do as well. I recommend you start by going to CBS Marketwatch (www.marketwatch.com) and clicking on Market Data, and then clicking on Industry Analyzer. That will enable you to see each major market index, as well as the historical performance of each one. There are presently 19 sectors that I follow on a regular basis. If you would like the complete list, just let me know and I will post it here for you.
