Does anybody know the Settlement TIME of S&P emini Options? I've looked on the CME site: nothing. My broker is IB and...well you know how efficient their Chat Help isn't.
I'll have to admit my ignorance here: I just buy and exit at a profit or stop loss. Today I am trading Oct. 17 options. I think I remember reading that Settlement Time is Friday MORNING ? Are these the 'Quarterlies' ? Are the 'serials' the options that expire on Oct. 31 (EOM options) ?
There is no set time. That's why you can't find it. It's based on opening prices and, of course, different issues open at different times. Usually the settlement value is available before noontime however.
