Great videos/charts joeb.

This market is crazy! Every day I keep telling myself "They can't hit *both* targets, the party has to stop" and every day they keep doing some crazy, crazy swings.

In an ideal world this would go on forever :D

Oh, and I need to learn about forks...

2. For most people it sounds like they just need to get back on that horse and ride - even with a simulator.

They might be surprised!

Yes Joe I am a bit like jelly today - I don't even know what I am asking and from what Jack Hershey wrote in the other thread, it is more complicated than I can imagine.

What drives futures prices the buyers and sellers of the components in the index or the buyers and sellers of the futures?

3. Gotcha!!

I will reply in a bit doing my levels for Fri.
if I post some pic of how I see the market, you may get a better
feel for what moves it

I will tell you now it is the LOOSERS that move the market
up or down it is always the LOOSERS !

I will go over this later tonight

4. Amazing overlay - AGAIN!

I guess you are thanking the LOOSERS much these days.

Musing: is it immoral to want the market to tank below support - a climactic washout of sellers. . .classic capitulation/run for the exits. . .in order for this market to right itself and be able to rally with strength????!!!????

Yes, it has been a long 13 months. I wanted the Aug '07 drop to continue and end this crap. Why couldn't the Fed see it my way?

Financials would've consolidated then instead of billions of taxpayer dollars later - and I saw this!!! I KNEW the banks couldn't accept their losses and would drag this thing out just to try and collect charity. . .AWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!

Be glad you are a scalper, Joe - in for the day and out, but in ways it is harder to watch each tick.

Best to ya man, later. Thanks for letting me rant. I am going to have to manage a bit more from a distance in this environment.

5. as someone who trades the live markets everyday (Treasury, equity and energy futures) I can say without a doubt that joe's Levels are good and I use them with my own to as everyone who trades should have their own opinion out what they are doing. That being said he has a great grasp of what is going on, my friend in the spooz pit told me that they (paper) always jam it with options expiration with quarter end to make the market and their profits look OK which is going on right now I guess the range has expanded from 1260 to 1300 to 1212 to 1300 trade it up and trade it down and fade the extremes.

7. I always Watch and I mean ALWAYS watch the Volume Trend Lines I have on my screen this tells me where the traders are

I don't care like stock traders about float and % short

You have to know WHERE the traders are short
What level, let's just say I know the market was over
crowded at 1216.25 today with contract turn over
to the short side at a low level, most traders get short at the low levels and this proves the theory

You can see the green line in the pic below this is our constant volume line and the cyan and magenta line is one that resets
during high volume and tells us where and at what PRICE level
the traders are at.
