S&P daily pivots and break-down & up Targets

1. Sorry in advance if this question has already been answered elsewhere but I would like to know the formula that's used to calculate the pivots in your nightly videos. Frankly, I don't use pivots due to their subjective nature (after all, HIGH + LOW + CLOSE divided 3 has absolutely no bearing on where the stock might actually turn). Instead, I use previous support and resistance. Nevertheless, I would be interested in hearing the intricacies behind the numbers you freely dispense every night.

2. Old style, I do them by hand......................:D
I feel the same way you do that there is no calc. that works

It does take time, however I remember all the levels
so much better when I do them by hand over and over

8. Amazing that you hit the low near-exactly. So I take it you closed your longs pre-target with a profit, too?!?

9. To be honest not sure, when I got off the mic in the room
I was long held till 1240 area and I think the other trader
in our room tried to short and got stoped out

We always keep tight stops, but heard from some guys in room
he was calling the end of day short :(

But the levels where really good today seeing I went back to
2004 to get them to make sure they would hold

10. Hi Joe, I just notice your thread recently. I am curious how those levels are generated daily. Maybe you introduce before. If not, could you please brief me how you determine those levels on the pictures? Thank you.
