S&P daily pivots and break-down & up Targets

  1. Joe, in one of your videos you mentioned to watch out for the time 9:36 in the market, since a lot of times the market changes directions then (is that right, or am I recalling the time incorrectly?). I was just wondering if there were any other times that that is likely to occur, any time during the afternoon?

    Also, is there a good resource for learning about how time of day affects the market? I know simple things like trading is fastest at the opening and near the close, and slow in the middle of the day, but I'd like to learn a little more in depth.

    We go over the times in the market every day in the room

    Have you been in to our room yet ?

    There are many times of the day a market is likley to change
    direction based on time of day

  4. OMG...........................KILLED IT ON THE OPEN

    had the room short from 1269.50

    1st tgt 1266

    then 1264

    to 1256

    said we should hold there

    the other trader took over in the room, I had to run out

    but he got them long @1253 area i think but he had a great rest of day as well.....

    You swing trade, our room goes short and long all day

    you may not like the style....

    but you are welcome to stop by

    I will post a pic on how we use globex, very simple

    watch the YEN, and you have to know the key numbers!

    I wiil put togather some pic for you

    I just started looking at your levels, .... I must say it is a breath of fresh air to hear your unbiased feel for the market, as traders. who cares which way she goes, as long as you are on the correct side!

    Do you do much work in any other markets, I see you mentioned The YEN?

  8. Thx. Is there a good correlation betw. YEN and S+P ? Doesn't the 30 yr treasury lead the s+p also ? thx. again.;)

  10. JB: It seems to me the "levels" stated before the open at YouTube (Line in the Sand, Breakout, Breakdown, Ultimate Target) were traded differently in your room?
