I agree with this statement. Track record is paramount in trading the stock market. It's the only measure of how well you're doing.
"All this may be true, but you're posting as if the "correction" were a foregone conclusion (e.g., the number of comments regarding how right you are "so far", usually in reply to someone who disagrees with you). This suggests that posting any other sort of analysis would be a waste of time. Hence, the lack of participation." Well said.
I like dbphoenix. Heck, I like you too. But it would serve you better to create your own quotes. As far as the lack of participation, any fool with an IQ over 10 can look at the thread views, and taking into consideration that this thread was started sunday, it's obvious that there is strong interest in this thread. Remember what I said about asking a friend about your behavior. You're making a complete fool of yourself, over and over.
Don't kid yourself. If it wasn't for me asking you questions about what the basis is for your trading methodology, or how you could admit on Monday that the S&P was not running out of gas since it had just made a new 52 week high as recently as Friday and was "still in a range" ( your words, not mine ) there wouldn't be too many people here on this thread. Keep patting yourself on the back for telling us about high oil prices and a weak Economy yesterday. Yawn.
If it wasn't for you? Are you writing this from the insane asylum? You keep digging yourself deeper and deeper with every idiotic comment. Everyone here can read and knows what this thread stands for. You cannot change the wording , especially since it's still there for all to read. I called for a sharp correction and then it immediately happened. No one can take that away from me. My question to you: should I give back all the $$ (AND IT'S ALOT) I made this week because my analysis for making it didn't fit your warped idea of sound analysis? Is this loser for real?
It's time to up that dosage of Lithium again. No doubt about it! Take a look at the Poll down in the Chit Chat Forum that I set-up for you . . . Take a look at how many aliases other ET members believe that you have. You might be surprised by the results! Ciao, Buddy
You know what waggie? You convinced me. I think i'm going to return all the money I made this week trading off of my brilliant call this past sunday because you say my analysis wasn't sound.
You might wish to head over to the Yahoo Message Boards in the Finance Section . . . there are a TON of guys just like you that have no idea what they are doing and continually pat themselves on the back, over and over. Perhaps no one will know how many aliases you have, and you can tell everyone how you called the TOP from SPX 1050 on up!
I would like to request that this Thread be removed to Chit Chat. There has been no substantive discussion of "trading" for awhile now.
