Brokerboy, I posted three weeks ago that the trend was up for the next two weeks. I think I confirmed after these two weeks twice that my posting was correct and I said the bird was wrong. Thatâs all I did. I never posted 5 different tops with constant changing stops. I never said about myself that I was the best, I never congratulated myself, I never said to be in the top 0.1% of ET, I never said to be in the top 1% of the world, I never said that I had big returns, I never said I had a 7 figure accountâ¦â¦.. But I got fed up with the arrogance of Rubberbird. Only then I mentioned my returns. So donât compare my attitude with that of Rubberbird. I think my behaviour is fundamentally different from his. I find your posting not objective. Rubberbird, Between 1990 and 1995 I lost lots of money and wiped out my account. Between 1995 and 2000 I managed to stay just above break even. From 2000 till now I have had not a single losing year or month or even week. And my returns grew very fast. I learned how to trade between 1990 and 2000. Who would be the best trader? The one that was good before 2000 or the one that was good after 2000? In world championships in any sport the champion is the one who wins when the contest takes place, not the one who won 5 years earlier.
hmmm......that is impressive... to learn mkts during the bubble and yet make $$ after the bubble.......impressive.
? ? ? Repeat: 2000, 2001, 2002 were three of my best years on a 7 figure account. The nasdaq had crashed, and the S&P was down each year. poor lil spikey, are you related to the lihtium kid, or are you just stealing his drugs? I won't even begin to compare 2003. My aunt Edna was +50%, anyone throwing darts did 50% that year as all the indices rose from the gutter. You familiar with the gutter? And to answer the question who is the best trader, it's the guy who pocketed the most money. And it looks like that ain't even close. Enough childish crap!
Give Me My Tots!!! nice pic brokerboy... I you all have not seen Napolean Dynamite, you should OWN this movie, today. Look obviously this is like comparing apples to oranges... both of you are being a little fruity! SO how about this... Rubberbird is correct as of now... the SP has topped on 7/29 Spikey is ALSO right because it has been about 2 weeks and the market is no longer going up as he said would do for those 2 weeks. Arguing about this is akin to a couple of 2 year olds who think ones pizza taste better than the others... relative
rubberbird, why donât you start the competition with Spike and stop talking bs? Prove that you are the good trader you always claim to be. Show us lithium kids how to trade the markets and that you are the top trader. Yes, I agree that your past returns are good, but a good trader should easily repeat the results in today markets. So why do you always talk about the past? I am pretty sure that Spike will show you how far away you are from being the best.
Napoleon Dynamite was very funny movie. Spike so how am I not objective? I would slam the bird in a second. I laugh all the time at this 1996 to 2001 record. He always misses 4 years. I think you should both post the last 5 years and thatâs it. The bird reminds me of another person in Napoleon Dynamite yes Uncle Rico. They both are stuck in the past so show your figures and cook the bird. I donât think the bird is great but I do think he does ok in trading. I would be curious to see how his calls translate into profits though. He does make some good calls.
just you all wait and see.... rubberbird will come and prove you all wrong...i just know it. rubberbird you gonna do it right? maybe Spike and rubberbird can be friends???
yeah funny, brokerboy. I think you missed some of my rantings. They include: 1) that i've made double digit returns for EACH and ALL of the last 10 years. 2) 2000, 2001 and 2002 were amongst my best years. This would not be unusual given the tilt of my predictions on ET 3) I did well, like my aunt Edna, and everyone else in 2003. Everyone I know was +50% 4) I beat the S&P in 2004, according to my audit. 5) we are in 2005 as we speak... The reason I bring up the audit from 1996-2001 is because it is a single audit, very neat and compact, and comprises up and down years. The following years (2002-present) are amongst a different audit, but nevertheless, an audit by a top accounting firm. Hope this helps! lil spikey, you're up! Now what were your returns in year 2000, 2001 etc. you know, the years you said you did good (see below).
