  2. "It ain't braggin if you can back it up." says mr. market

lil spikey wants to take the bird challenge?
As Tom Cruise said to Paul Newman, "you're out-manned!"

OK, spikey, i'll play, i'm feelin good about 7/29 S&P top, and I have alittle time right now. So here goes. You "said" you've been trading 15 years. I'll begin from when my audit starts in 1996. It says over a 6 year period (1996-2001), I made +675% (maybe alittle more :)), while the S&P was +100%.
It also says I made double digit returns EVERY year.

And here's the kicker spikey, this is on a 7 figure account. Anyone can make huge returns on a 4 or 5 figure account, if you even got that.

    And I haven't even treaded into 2002-2005...yet.

Show us what you got lil spikey. Do we have a bet?

I am betting on Rubberbird...so far...

  4. hahaha...

alas, the day comes where I look forward to reading this thread!

    almost better than trading!

Apex and Spikey show em what you got!!!

I know you HAVE to say "any one can say that... who know's if its real..."

But I'm hopein' for something better than that!

Rubberbird, that's the sweet life... I wish I could trade that... but I just don't trust myself enough so I taken all my profits out... close to 7 but not there yet. and I time mutual funds for my retirement funds

  5. Perhaps Rubberbird was good for these years (1996-2001),
but I don't believe people with such a position like Rubberbird demonstrates for last few weeks (I mean ignoring the facts) can be consistently profitable for a long time.

I believe Spike can do much better.

  6. Why don’t you both send someone your numbers and they will tell us the truth. Rubberbird I believe you did over 600% in that period but people were having stocks double in weeks during that time. You could have bought any internet stock and been smart. I bought a stock that went from 25 to 150 in like 8 months. We have to see what people make in the bad years too and remember the NAZ went from 1000 to 5000 in that time frame. Also it should have to be your % you took home and can’t be any net and gross bullshit on your trading capital. You got to judge the man on what he makes for himself not what he makes for everybody else. I would be interested to see who wins. I get the feeling the Bird will win but I do think the birds head is bigger then he is. We don’t even need audited records tax returns will do fine. Make it a gentleman’s bet. I don’t remember reading much about Spike I think he is a futures trader.

Bleh, this thread is not worth the drive space it's stored on at 3GB/$.

Oh and venerable Mr Bird, if you have a 8 figure net worth you could do better with your time than wasting hours perpetuating this thread.

  8. Mr Kubilai:

Seventy some pages later you come up to this conclusion ?

Now that after all that time it finally gets interesting ???

I am glad you are not trading my money...

  9. Yo, RB . . . I'm going to be real surprised if either one take you up on that bet. I'd fly and pay to see money change hands on this one but you and I both know they won't come out from behind the internet to "hang meat".
