  5. Rubberbird,

Did you throw in the towel on your S+P short yet? Not flaming, just asking.

  6. Probably not; it's a new week so he can put is stop 10 points higher before waiving the white flag.
And on top of that we probably didn't "blast" hard enough.

  7. In Rubberbirds' defense...

This person goes out and says SP toppy over 1 month ago and days later the SP falls... enough for decent traders to make a killing

None of the bashers that are posting now ever came out to says... "great call..." not one of you!

So he makes another call... toppy again... so far the call lacks the same luster... but from nowhere you folks come out and start talking trash.

I don't recall rubberbird ever stating that he has the perfect system or the holy grail... but jeeze if you bashers are such exceptional traders yourselves... why not step up and make MACRO statements. If you're any good we shall see.

Unless your will to do this much... stay away from knocking a guy whose willing to post Macro statement you yourself are too afraid to take.

This is just addressed to you people who seem to be coming out of the woodworks to bash... not the guys who have been against rubberbirds' postion all along...

  8. spike500,

what do you see here? reversal or just a retracement before higher highs?

to all: look at a 5 day intraday chart of SPY, and connect the bottoms. wow! talk about the profitable gift of support given on a silver platter.

watch the nasdaq composite to see how it reacts at last thursday's high (if it gets there) - should give a decent pivot for an entry one way or other.

  10. many thanks, amigo. It's honest folks like you that keeps the Bird posting. Not to worry, the Bird understands the laws of ET, where the vermin and maggots only circle to bash, and hide under their rocks when a call is good.

I could not have said it better myself. Your quote is riight on the money. These vermin cannot comprehend that my position is changing on a daily basis, as any decent traders should, to adapt to new market conditions.

Anyway, I still do not consider what happened a breach of my double top. My P&L only confirms this. When I start losing money on my short S&P call position, i'll know it's time to bail. But hell, i've made money selling aug. 1250 & 1275 calls, so what in blue hell am I wrong about? Yes, i'm sticking short these calls, plus some other stocks i may or may not mention on ET.
