LOL Sorry spike but wasn't it you HARPING on fighting the trend? Good luck to you btw, I agree with the trade
Indeed, but you should read what i posted about the way i trendfollow. Especially the decisiontable that i posted can make it understandable. Yesterday we mixed things up. Yesterday all the trends were long ( intraday, daily and LT) Today the intradaytrend went short. So i always follow the trend, but you have to see this in relation with what kind of trade i do (intraday, short term or long trem). I follow strictly what i have to do.
I don't look at any points; i stay in till my system says to get out. If it's for 0.25 points or 15 points i don't care. My stop is at my entry, so impossible to loose lots of money.
Spike: Just curious. regarding your money mgmt, do you use the fixed fractional or the fixed ratio method ? Cheers !
My money management is very simple: 2 points stop on every trade. Stop moves to entry once we moved far enough in the right direction. I hopes this answers your question. To be honest i don't understand what you mean. ( had to quite school at the age of 12 due to lack of intelligence )
No, short on the opening; problem was that i was not home the first two hours of trading, so i had to wait for an opportunity to short. We jumped up at 1233 so i went short there.
