From your link But Ginsburg has said recently that she plans to stay on the bench until she is at least 90.
Mostly due to the fact there are a few lefties here like exGoper who have a habit of attributing mistakes in the articles to the poster. So I wanted to be clear I am not vouching for the Santa Monica Observer.
And I told a friend in college I wanted to retire early and write books. Instead of books I write typos on elitetrader.
https://www.apnews.com/f52b92cb47394ce1bc6df3dd54e8a9bf The Latest: Ginsburg, 85, back to work at Supreme Court WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (all times local): 3:55 p.m. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is back in the building. The 85-year-old Ginsburg is working in her office at the Supreme Court for the first time since she fell Wednesday evening and fractured three ribs. That’s according to a court employee who is familiar with the situation.
But you made a thread stating that she said she was retiring next year from an anonymous source. You accept that but when she herself says she is staying 5 more years you dont buy it
Is this really how you think? I neither accept that she is definitely retiring in Jan nor do I accept she knows how long she will be able to serve as a Supreme Court justice.
Well there is still a shot for the prediction to be correct. Justice Ginsburg is missing oral arguments for the first time in her career. I wonder if she was hoping for a Muller report an impeachment and the Dems to win the Senate.
I have no idea what is going on in Ruthie's mind or plans, but at least one assertion in that article is not true. It refers to her "re-occurrence of melanoma." I dont believe there is any evidence that she has ever had melanoma, let alone a re-occurence of it. It is true- at least it is widely acknowledged- that she has had colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, and cancer of the lung. My never humble view is that she is on the downcurve but is at least well enough to make it through the current court session which ends in June, or at least the hearings do, I believe- and justices plan their lives around sessions. I doubt that she would retire while court is still in session. Yep, tis true she is out and recovering and I am not saying she would not function at a reduced level but I cannot see her leaving before summer- unless she takes a complete dive for the worst. I am going to give the article a few pre-pinnochio's. If the facts change, I will change my view. And no to the melanoma.
