I firmly believe most people in the democratic party vehemently oppose kneeling during the anthem and they also oppose packing the courts. RBG basically removed a facade that covered the true feelings of most democrats. This is good for America.
Progressives fume as Biden Supreme Court commission seems to reject court-packing Documents released Thursday were not final report but draft discussion materials ahead of Friday meeting https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-supreme-court-commission-court-packing
Progressives are going to get further and further squeezed out of the party with their extreme bullshit... hopefully same happens to trumpets on GOP.
Nothing extreme about wanting to undo the damage by a stolen appointment, a perjured appointment, and three "federalist society" judges slipping us into corporate statism/corporatocracy. Not even unprecedented really. You're reading the tea leaves wrong here Ocho, moderates want a reversal of the damage done, not simply stopping the bleeding. Biden's do-nothing attitude won't spell well for 2022 much less 2024. https://harvardlpr.com/2019/05/06/t...mes-before-here-are-four-ways-to-do-it-today/
I am just waiting for the day that the progressives discover that you do not have to be a U.S. citizen or an attorney to be on the Supreme Court- especially with this being Bryer's last session- my view. So their ideal nominee might still be in El Salvador right now.
Packing the Court is not a normal approach to losing elections....moderates want a reversal just like cons wanted a reversal and won. Packing a court is an extreme reaction not a moderate one. Dems need to boot the old fucks running the party who will cost them 2022....GOP already imploding with trumpets.
perhaps I just don't see what the big deal is, or how it's "extreme". It's clear the court has become a bought and paid for political arm so put 101 judges in there, you'd get a more objective/democratic outcome that'd be harder to buy.
