It does not always lead, but this week particularly in the selling the RUT, TF, has lead the market down. Next week it might be the NQ, or the ES, it always changes. If you stay on top if it though you can scalp out a few ticks. Also, CL (crude oil) does some leading now and again since it trades more volume then it used to from Katrina incident. Also Bonds have an affect on the market from time to time. Some times they lead, some times they trade opposite, they can be an indicator. Just keep your eye on the markets, you'll see whats going on. TT
