All crazy talk. The US will never break up. As 25% of the world's economy, I have to say I seriously doubt it in a big way. That russian analyst must be a "KGB trained analyst", like Putin's KGB trained new CEO of Gazprom. Or was it Lukoil? (Probably makes no difference, they think the company is there's anyway). Let me tell you how that one will work out, too. Took the helm a year ago, and the market has done nothing but go down ever since. What a delusional psycho to think that's possible. It reads to me more like a modern chain of events leading to the realization of the Communist Manifesto, which ignores every single tenet of viable free markets. That's why they collapsed, and they will continue to collapse. Their population has a negative annualized growth rate, and their life expectancy is one of the poorest in the world. Any other rants to hear from about how it's possible? I hope not, because that won't ever happen.
The collapse of capitalism has been the mantra of Russian economists for decades. The guy belongs in a rubber room..
I'm going to use strong and sophomoric language here. Please bear with me. What a god damn asshole. China has vast reserves of what? Natural resources? No. Manpower. Yes. Foreign currency? Yes. That foreign currency is due to be debased by MASSIVE inflation quite soon now. Now they just have a lot of manpower. To do what with? Build cheap products the cash-strapped world can't afford? Face it, the US rules the world. If America suffers, the whole world suffers. If the US prospers, the whole world prospers. Now here's the best part. "Russia, which could play the role of a regulator.." What the fuck? Russia as a regulator? That's like a joke! Russia can't regulate itself out of a paper bag, much less Eurasia and the rest of the world at large. What's Russia's population? 147 million? I don't know. But it's miniscule compared to a lot of other countries. They think they're hot because they have land mass and nuclear weapons. It's bullshit. You can see those fucking dumbass kolkhozniks suffer with the lower commodity prices that have come to roost in recent weeks, as the oil and commodity bubble popped and left them (and the Arabs/Venezuelans) for dead. So to conclude, this asshole has no idea what life is like in America. And he underestimates us. [deleted] .. We are still Americans and we are the greatest country in the world, capable of handling any challenge. I say bring it on. The rest of the world has grown complacent. The United States rule supreme. USA! USA! USA!
RTS dropped from 2500 in May to 692 as of today. Loss of 73% http://www.rts.ru/en/index/rtsi/onlinegraphday.aspx Thank you for worrying about us.
Last time I looked (couple days ago), the US markets were down 50% and the Russian markets were down 75%, almost the worst in the world.
