Vlad, is quite the little planner. He knows how much pushback he got and people fleeing the country from the last mobilization, which still continues. So he has come up with the brilliant idea of doubling the required service time for conscripts that are called up. What could go wrong there? Sure, it is not immediate. It is going to be phased in over the next year but that just creates a whole population of men who want to see the war end before they are called up, and many who will simply flee, if they can. You have a whole bunch of men already worrying about what the odds are of surviving a year in Ukraine who now have to work their calculator to figure out what the odds are of surviving a two year period. How 'bout ZILCH. Vladimir Putin will lengthen conscription period for young Russian men from one to two years as his forces get bogged down in Ukraine war The period of conscription will be lengthened for men, said Lt-Col Mikhail Fotin He said 18 to 27 year olds will be called up for 1.5 years from spring 2023 From autumn next year, young Russian men will be recruited for two years https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ung-Russian-men-lengthened-one-two-years.html

Russia transfers 50 more Ural armoured vehicles to Belarus Lukashenka resisted Pooty Boy for a long time. Increasingly looking like he has capitulated now. Putin assassinated some of his people in Belarus and let Belly Boy know that he could be next. Many will die. It puts Ukraine in a bad position because they need to keep troops in the Belarus/Kiev area that are needed in the east. On the other hand, woe be unto the Russians and Belarus being deployed out of Belarus. The Ukrainians are dug in HARD the entire distance that they must cross over and it is one solid mindfield with row after row of trenches. It's also hard on the Russian troops in the east because many of them are being deployed up to the Kiev area at a time when they are already struggling hard. On paper, it all looks good to the Russians. They are moving more experienced troops up for the attack on Kieve but there plan is to replace them with big waves of the new recruits. What could go wrong there? Oh, I see, the Russians have gone from killing Ukrainians to get a pair of boots for themselves to killng other Russians for some boots. All looks good on paper from Moscow though. Also, Moscow is actively taking steps to improve morale. see second link below. https://news.yahoo.com/russia-transfers-50-more-ural-145505292.html Ukraine: Russia to deploy musicians to front to boost morale https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-64016599
We know who the real Nazi's are. Their time is coming to an end shortly. Russia Can Finally See That Putin’s ‘Days Are Numbered’ https://news.yahoo.com/russia-finally-see-putin-days-010335807.html
one of russia's big problems is, that it doesn't know its borders. as weird as it might appear ... this problem is just as old as russia itself. after losing this idiotic war, russia will go through a very painful (shrinking, self-finding, ...) process in the coming decades. what some day will be left from "russia", remains to be seen.
This is the 6th month that the "2nd army in the world" and the vaunted "Wagnerites" are trying to take Bakhmut - a small town.
