Russians rely on that rail bridge more and more as the Ukrainians take out rail lines north of Kherson. Yep. This bridge explosion has very bad optics for the Russians but I am ever on the lookout for events that put the screws to the Russian troops in Kherson City more and more. The Russian troops are trapped there BUT they vastly outnumber the Ukrainian troops. There is only about one more set of rail lines remaining in the north. In Luhansk or Donetsk, a little further east than the Lyman area. After the Ukrainians take that out, then the only rail line they have left is the one coming up from Crimea across the Kersch Bridge. AND LET'S JUST SAY THAT IS NOT LOOKING PARTICULARLY GOOD EITHER NOW. I don't want to see all those Ukrainian and Russian troops killed in Kherson City. The more you can cut off the supply, the more that will surrender. The Ukrainians have taken back a lot of land but they have not taken back any city of any size. If they take back Kherson City that is an ultra-major victory. They have to be careful though and not get drawn into house to house combat or a full frontal assault too early. The Russians are clowns but there are tens of thousands of them in Kherson and they have trainload after trainload of old soviet era artillery that they can do damage with. Wait them out. Let the lack of supply continue to weaken the Russian position. Taking the Antonov and other bridges out helps. Taking the rail hub at Izium helps. Taking the rail hub at Liman out helps. Taking the Kerch bridge out helps. etc. etc. Some patience required. Time is not on the side of the Russians trapped in Kherson.
This article says "rail traffic to resume Saturday night." Hmm. https://news.yahoo.com/large-fire-reported-key-bridge-060008991.html
It's likely they can repair the damage to the bridge in a week --- assuming they are not under bombardment while doing it. My question is --- Is the timing of the bombing of the bridge a strategic move by the Ukrainians to cut off supplies for a week to coincide with some new major offensive military action?
"Ukraine's postal service said on Saturday it would print a special stamp to commemorate the blast." https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...uel-tank-fire-kerch-bridge-crimea-2022-10-08/
Dude, not that you ever were in a street fight, but try to imagine this, if one calls you a pussy, then pinches your wife’s butt, then calls your kids ugly products of an incest, then if you are still sitting their like a lemon pretending that nothing happened, you are a useless twat, I know how I would react to a provocation from that c.nt, same goes for Russia. You can pretend all you like that there was no provocative actions from the West and that Putin is mad, yada yada yada, this won’t change how Russia views what’s been happening. Accept it or keep ignoring it. They don’t give 2 Fs about it.
Ukrainians not giving Vlad much slack today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. PRESIDENT! scroll down a couple notches in the link for the video https://opoyi.com/world/crimea-brid...n-monroes-happy-birthday-mr-president-770226/ Also, let's show some compassion for the "hosts" over on Russian TV. They must be on suicide watch today. Olga Skabeeva the Iron Beaver probably looking like she is on the rag.
So much whining. The nasty West won't let Russia violently attack and seize territory from a sovereign nation while committing endless heinous war crimes. Wah Wah Wah. Your vatnik act is getting old. Here is today's thought for you...
