Russia & Ukraine

  1. Not sure what "appeal" means. Unless it is some kind of swap or something. We shall see. Maybe Putin should drop by to talk to the soldiers. After all they are in his annexed territory that is under Russian control now. If you can overlook the Ukrainian troops, I guess.

Frigging nutcases in Moscow. Russian TV gonna be buzzing before long.

Ukraine tells Russia to appeal if it wants imperilled troops freed

KYIV, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Ukraine said on Friday it had all the supply routes to the Russian stronghold of Lyman in the crosshairs of its artillery in the east, and told Moscow it would have to appeal to Kyiv if it wanted its forces to be allowed out.

Fighting was still raging, but an encirclement operation was under way, a military spokesperson said. His comments suggested Moscow faced a major setback in the Donbas region just as Russian President Vladimir Putin was proclaiming the land part of Russia.

"All the approaches and logistic routes of the enemy, through which they delivered ammunition and manpower, are in fact under fire control (of Ukraine)," Serhii Cherevatyi, a military spokesperson told public broadcaster Suspilne.

Here’s the thing, Putin’s time until Ukraine was some of the greatest years in Russian history in terms of quality of life gains. Putin oversaw massive economic reforms and the well being of the Russian people quickly improved under his leadership. This is not saying life throughout Russia was great but it did get better. He really threw all of that away to get his ass kicked in Ukraine.

Zelensky said he will negotiate with Russia but with a different Russian president.

  4. It is not over yet and you speak of the outcome as if it took place already. I don't know for a fact, but I do believe that shortly we will witness Ukraine to be set totally on fire. Sad that it came to it.

  6. You can't even spell correctly. I am not pushing nuking of Ukraine, last time I checked I did not have a direct line to Kremlin. I am digesting it for you since you are incapable of doing it by yourself. Putin has issued warnings many times that they will not hesitate using nuclear if Russia is attacked, so it is only rational to conclude that now Donbas has become part of Russia (sorry if you just threw up your lunch), if Ukraine military does not leave these territories, then shit will hit the fan as early as this weekend, even though you believe that Russia has pretty much run out of weapons and they just have shovels left.

  7. What a frigging ding-dong!

Maybe they did not cover that in his one hour of training. You know show them what Russian insignia and uniform look like versus Ukrainian insignia and uniform.

Anyway, it was thoughtful of him to give the Ukrainians a warm welcome so there is that.

Not much zippy intelligence and surveillance being provided to these units. They are all left to figure things out themselves. I remember right after the mobilization it was reported that even the Russian commanders were saying they did not need more men- that they needed more trained men and more intelligence gathering. The commanders complained that they were supposed to fight the enemy but figure out where they are too. And this was coming from artillery commanders who don't have the means to do that. In fairness to Ding Dong here, he is not getting much help. Probably has not seen an officer in weeks.

‘I’m surprised to see you’: Russian soldier baffled as he's confronted by Ukrainian army
A Russian soldier was left shaken after he mistook Ukrainian soldiers for fellow comrads as Kyiv's forces pushed into occupied territory.

Footage from Ukraine has captured a horrifying blunder by a Russian soldier after he mistakenly greeted President Zelensky’s troops believing they were members of his own army. The Kremlin soldier told advancing Ukrainian forces: “I’m surprised to see you here”. The clip, recorded by Ukraine’s military, captured the moment of shocking realisation as the soldiers revealed their true identity to the Russian serviceman. The exchange occurred as Ukrainian forces advanced into Russian-occupied territory as part of a counter-offensive operation to reclaim land.

It's like God doesn't like this holy man Putin mouthpiece... but not to worry, Pootie Poots & his supporters don't believe Covid is real.

Pro-Putin holy man Patriarch Kirill, 75, tests positive for Covid with leader of Russian Orthodox Church suffering from ‘severe symptoms’
    • Kirill, 75, cancelled all of his planned trips and events according to the Church
    • His symptoms require bed rest and isolation but condition is 'satisfactory'
    • Putin ally supports the war in Ukraine and champions conservative social values
