    Russia cannot hold Ukraine without civilian cooperation, bombing them out of existence means they will end up holding a wasteland while their economy craters - that's hardly their agenda here and is unsustainable even in the short run.

  2. And they make some halfway decent missiles themselves - lower sophistication- and sold a pantload to the Ukraine after buying missiles from Russia. Yeh, they are snaky enough to give the Saudi's some real competition.

    We are talking about removing Russia from swift, that requires a unanimous EU vote, not a NATO vote. Turkey has no vote on the matter.

    The Russians ultimately have to move troops into Kyiv, we will see how the fighting goes when it’s relatively close proximity and urban.

    I get the Ukrainians “don’t have a chance” we’ll see how the battle for Kyiv goes.
