  5. Russia Gives Up on Rebuilding Bridges Destroyed by Ukraine: 'No Point'

The Antonovsky Bridge is the only road bridge connecting Kherson, located on the western side of the Dnipro river, with a part of Kherson province on the other side. It is the main crossing over the Dnipro, and is a key route for Russia to supply its forces occupying territory in Ukraine's south.

Stremousov told state television that the bridge is now so damaged that only a motorcycle can cross it.

Offensive operations are more costly with casualties than defensive one. Typically you can expect a 3 to 1 ratio of losses (or more) when on the offense versus defense.

The Ukraine offensive around Kherson is reflective of this. The Russians are well dug in and are using prepared defensive positions. The Ukrainian casualties each day in the recent couple weeks are far above the Russian -- which is a change from previous months when the Russians were generally on the offensive.

The Washington Post article is reflective of this harsh reality.

If it is, it would be difficult to trace the first posting of the image on the net. This is but one characteristic of Memetic warfare signatures.

A common end goal is to create distraction, deflection, conflict, confusion and return to tribalism.

“Yo man, why would the kremlin put out disparaging content? It’s obvious it’s not from the kremlin - any moron would know that!”
