Russia has problems with their volunteers.
A Russian criminal who was sentenced 20 year for murdering and blackmailing, went as olunteer to Ukraine to fight. When he arrived in Ukraine he surrendered and asked asylum. It saves him 15 years in prison thnaks to Putin. But I think Putin was expecting something else.
    ROFLMAO.

  2. Put these two articles together and you can see what the scam is.

Putin is moving civilians out of Crimea under the guise of looking out for their safety and wellbeing, when in fact he is moving them out to give their property as a perk and benny to those who support his war and participate in it.

This is somewhat of a re-run of 2014 when over a million Crimeans were forced out of their homes which were then occupied by Russians.

Yep. These two articles should be put together. Don't think for a minute that they are not related.

For Ukrainians in Crimea, free evacuation trains have been launched

  5. There has been clear confirmation of this growing problem from cell phone intercepts too.
Russia soldiers complaining that their gun are still running but are shooting crooked as hell.

The problem begins to spread too because when their artillery wears out they start using their tanks more as artillery in closer areas. Then the tank guns burn out too.

And then there is the obvious point- but maybe a little reminder is needed- and that quite a bit of their artillery and tanks were already pretty well worn down before they were put into moth balls to be retrieved. If a howitzer or tank had been used to pummel Chechnya or Afghanistan 4/7, you think they gave it a full tune up and barrel replacement before they put it in storage for decades. Nope. Fucking thing was a disaster before it even arrived in Ukraine. Whatever oil filter a tank or truck had in Afg is the same one it has in it now. In theory, you can calculate how long a barrel will last based on firing usage. Okay, I guess. If you think the tank had a new barrel in it when it arrived in Ukraine. Otherwise, how much usage does it already have on it from Chechnya or the Russo-Japanese war already (little joke there, not really)

Russian soldiers burn out their guns

Russian Armed Forces already facing wear and tear on their guns due to the high intensity of the fighting in Ukraine, most of which were manufactured back in the last century.

Russian military bloggers are posting images of dozens of damaged combat vehicles with exploded gun barrels. They also are passing on Russian troops’ complaints that soldiers have problems with the survivability of artillery and tank guns.

Treefrog, artillery and tank gun barrels have only a limited life time before they need to be replaced. Russia doesn't have new gun barrel production, since the equipment they used to produce them (which needs to be very precise) was Western.

Here is an example of what they can manage to produce with domestic equipment:

In other news: China took hostage $100B of Russia's reserve.

Russia has transferred 17% of its gold reserve into yuan. Now they find out they cannot sell that yuan without special permission from China.

  7. Those specifications there add a whole new meaning to the expression: "Close enough for government work."

  8. Just a little off center. Hear it works great for wheels as well, which is why such wheels are seen in certain parades. Next annual Russian Victory parade, perhaps? At least if Russia is going to be honest with themselves.

Nothing quirky about it. "Falling out of windows" has been their go-to for a few detractors. I have a feeling their hit squads lazy AF "plausible deniability" approach is intentional to flaunt their power and impunity.

In December 2021, Yegor Prosvirnin—the founder of nationalist website Sputnik and Pogrom—died after falling out of a window of a residential building in the center of Moscow.

He allegedly threw a knife and gas canister out of the window before the fall, BBC News reported.

On October 19, 2021 a Russian diplomat was found dead after a fall from a window of the Russian embassy in Berlin, Der Spiegel reported.

The man was a second secretary at the embassy, but German intelligence sources told the newspaper they suspected he was an undercover officer with Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB).

Investigative outlet Bellingcat said it used open-source data to identify the deceased man as Kirill Zhalo, the son of General Alexey Zhalo, deputy director of the FSB's Second Service.

In late December 2020, Alexander "Sasha" Kagansky, a top Russian scientist reportedly working on a COVID-19 vaccine at the time, was found dead with a stab wound after falling from his high-rise apartment in St. Petersburg.

According to Russian outlet Fontanka, the suspect, a childhood friend of Kagansky, told police that Kagansky stabbed himself then jumped to his death.

There were also reports of health care workers falling out of hospital windows—some to their deaths—in Russia during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Two Russian doctors died and another was seriously injured after falls from hospital widows over a two-week period between April and May 2020.
Reports said two of the doctors had protested working conditions and the third was being blamed after her colleagues contracted the virus.

And in July, Dan Rapoport, a 52-year-old Latvian-American investment banker and outspoken Putin critic, died after a fall from a luxury apartment building in Washington, D.C.

Rapoport's former business partner, Sergei Tkachenko, fell to his death from a Moscow apartment building in 2017.
