Zjbys. Lithuania & Poland in doo doo.

But it depends on the wind as well.

With the ,,right" wind, all of those ,,gifts" could end up next to Moscow.

As someone who works at sea, we never look at wind and waves more than 5 days ahead.
    Conditions change too often.
Maybe it's different story in land tho.

  3. With the usual caveat that I have no way of confirming this of course.

Other than Bucha, I can think of no better way to keep convincing the world that Russia is no better than ISIS.

It's a violation of the Geneva Convention too, but all that went out the window long ago.

    Disgusting.

,,Ukrainian intelligence has also accused Russia of planning to attack Ukraine in a "massive shelling event" on its Independence day.

"The threat of massive shelling on the territory of Ukraine with S-300 missiles is obvious. Considering the arrival of several trains [from Russia] before Aug. 20, it is clear that the Russians are preparing to attack Ukraine on Aug. 24," the Centre for Strategic Communications (StratCom), a Ukrainian NGO, wrote on its website and Telegram channel on Thursday.''

    https://missilethreat.csis.org/defsys/s-300/
,,The S-300 is a family of Russian-made surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems capable of engaging aircraft and UAVs in addition to providing some cruise and ballistic missile defense capability. The S-300P variant, also known as the SA-10 Grumble, was designed by the Soviet Union during the 1960s and 70s, and is used only for air defense. Derived from the S-300P is the S-300V, also known as the SA-23A Gladiator and the SA-23B Giant, which is equipped with an anti-ballistic missile capability, and is similar in several respects to the U.S. Patriot Advanced Capability-2 (PAC-2).''

    ,,S-300V Specifications
The S-300V uses 9M83 and 9M82 missiles to target ballistic warheads across a 40 km radius. The 9M83 is 7.5 m long, 0.5 m wide, and can target aircraft at 75 km. The 9M82 is 10 m long, 0.85 m wide, and can target aircraft at 100 km.17 The export missile variant, the Antei 2500, is similar to the 9M82, but extends the anti-aircraft range up to 200 km. All three missile variants carry 150 kg fragmentation warheads with inertial guidance systems and semi-active radars to find their targets.18

The system uses the 9A83ME four tube launcher vehicle for the SA-23A Gladiator and the 9A84ME two tube launcher vehicle for the SA-23B Giant.19

See a visualization of Russian S-300 deployments on the interactive map, The Russia-NATO A2AD Environment.''

If they're located in south & could not reach north/Belarus, maybe the true intention of orcs is to lure HIMARS/ATACMS further north away from Kherson and especially - Crimea.

Loosing those railroads and bridges in Crimea, must be hitting em painfully.

That's why Russia is doing this:
on the road to the Kerch bridge you can read:"Welcome to Ukraine".
They try to confuse the missiles.

Drone Strikes Headquarters Of Russia's Black Sea Fleet In Ukraine's Occupied Crimea Region

The Ruskie administrator of Sevastopol earns his potato for the month by telling everyone to stay calm, that there is no military threat and it is just for psychological value.

“The goal is not military but psychological,” he wrote. “The explosives are minimal and not capable of inflicting significant harm.”

Okay, well, let's examine this. First, yes, we can stipulate that it was a small attack, very small. That being said, we know that Putin is already extremely unhappy about that whole Black Sea Fleet scenario and vulnerability, so the last thing he wants is to see a plume of smoke arising over the Black Sea Headquarters (video in link) even if small. Psychological indeed. It drives Putin nuts and causes multiple commanders to be fired and for more and more ships to be relocated further away as we have seen before. Many of those ships were off the coast of Odessa preparing to support the invasion there (delayed) and were pulled back to Sevastopol. Now, they have removed many ships even further away, hunkering down like a bunch of pussies over in the Sea of Azov.

In addition, the notion that those drones buzzing around Sevastopol and recently at the Crimea Kerch bridge are just for psychological purposes to scare the natives is bullfeathers. Those drones are weaponized but they are also gathering images along the way and capturing the coordinates for those images FOR FUTURE USE and also probing their air defenses FOR FUTURE USE. It's like being at Pearl Harbor in 1941 and looking up and seeing a small Japanese plane scouting the area and telling everyone not to worry. Hint: You need to worry. That pilot is not there just to check out the beaches and see if the surf is up. Same with those drones in Crimea.
