  3. Then you’re shortsighted, this would be my differential diagnosis. Russians won’t give up Crimea and Ukraine doesn’t have what it takes to make them.

BOOM. The Russians really should stop playing with matches… and invading other sovereign nations.

Luhansk, a man came to pick up his child at the kindergarten, and was grabbed by the military commissariat. In LPR, a law has been passed allowing to cut the doors of apartments and check whether there are men who are to be mobilized and take them to the frontline

  7. Kind of a mixed bag there in the south of Ukraine. The bad news for the Ukrainians is that the Russians have doubled the number of troops in the Kherson area and apparently now have about 20,000. Yowzer. Not an opportune time to go too far on the offensive.

But the bad news for the Russians is that that is a LOT of troops concentrated in one area and they have needs at a time when Ukraine is increasingly taking out supply lines and ammo depots. Most of those troops are currently hungry and ragged, and that big batch of new arrivals will be hungry and depleted soon.

The Ukrainians are probably doing the smart thing by letting up on the offense, just holding ground and continuing to cut off their supply lines and blowing up ammo. That's probably why they are menacing Crimea too. It allows them to advance there via missiles but without any ground troops. Let those Ruskies in Kherson deteriorate some more before going on offense- with troops anyway.

One of the theories is that UA might want to give em time, to trap in more rats, then surround them by the waterline around the city & cut off ways to escape (bridges).

Given the low morale of their troops (fresh newbs), & low supplies, they could end up with a jackpot of POWs.

  9. More to come with these puppies. The Americans and the Ukrainians have been tinkering in the basement and kept it hush-hush until about ten days ago. They have other projects going too. I mentioned another one earlier today or yesterday, whereby the Americans were not giving the Ukrainians long range missiles but were secretely helping them to build them themselves. (hint: they show up fairly well pre-assembled).
