A detailed Github summary of documented equipment losses by each side. https://github.com/leedrake5/Russia-Ukraine One interesting chart on ratios
OMG. Ukraine really crushing Russia but for some reason losing territory each and every day village after village and city after city Dreaming about counteroffensive but for some reason not able to start it no matter how much western equipment and training they got Conscripting every men they can catch in stores or gas stations. And soon starting conscripting women. Yes, really believable chart
This is the new reality in the West. Rules are being re-written, just like there is no recession in the US. It's called living in denial of reality.
I hear Russia is launching a special operation in Ukraine to oust NATO nazis and they're totally sticking to gentleman-like war behavior?
Oh come on, let us stop the hypocrisy. As Russian and Ukrainians say, Чья бы корова мычала, а твоя бы молчала.
Here is a video of Ukrainian soldiers on the frontlines, in their own words, their real life situation, unlike, the usual Ukrainian propaganda that they are winning. These soldiers know they are outgunned and outmatched.
Some follow-up on the bridges in Kherson. As I mentioned earlier it is difficult to structurally damage a well-built steel bridge with missiles or artillery. The reality is that Ukraine may not want to permanently damage these bridges since they want to use them later. The bridges were effectively cratered to make the surfaces temporarily unusable. Similar to what a opposing military would do to make a airport runway unusable (which can be repaired easily for a runway by simply filling in the holes with blacktop road equipment within a day or so). Similarly a cratered surface of a bridge can normally be made usable by placing a steel roadway surface on top of the bridge -- assuming the bridge is structural sound & can carry the weight and the bridging surface is available for placement. At this point it appears the bridges in Kherson have been targeted multiple times. Each time they get repaired they get hit again. The Russian have put up large radar reflectors alongside the bridge in an attempt to deflect future missile attacks (which may not be effective). They have also implemented a ferry below the bridge to move supplies across. This article provides some more details. Russia Is Building ‘Ghost Bridges’ With Radar Reflectors In Ukraine After two strategic bridges in occupied Kherson were crated by Ukraine, Russia deployed radar reflectors as a crude and puzzling countermeasure. https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/russia-building-ghost-bridges-with-radar-reflectors-in-ukraine
