By the way, Russians hilariously tried to claim that this was not ammo, but an ammonium nitrate storage. Why hilarious - because it is obviously not true. The video is of an obvious ammo depot explosion, it is very easy to distinguish. Here is one a couple of days earlier. Sometimes you wonder why they lie so obviously. Maybe they just can't help themselves.

  8. It does not get much press anymore for understandable reasons, but the The Great Syrian Fighter influx scam pretty much went nowhere.

The russians recruited all those guys by telling them that they would just be security forces to hold and patrol and police the occupied territories as Russia advanced. Then they got there and started getting dead uncomfortably fast and that dried up their recruitment very rapidly, da or should that be duh? Plus the russian troops were too untrained and disorganized themselves to train anyone else.

Pretty pathetic too. Some of the Syrians were hard core scumbags but most of them were just peasants that wanted to send a few bucks home so that mom could get a loaf of bread. Then the russians started withholding their pay until their contract was completed then keeping it when they were killed. No bread for mom.

The Oryx Handbook Of Iranian Drones
    https://www.oryxspioenkop.com/2019/09/the-oryx-handbook-of-iranian-drones.html?m=1

The goal of this list is to comprehensively catalogue Iran's past and current inventory of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their armament. In an effort to streamline the list and avoid unnecessary confusion, this list only includes military drones associated with Iran's defence industry or military-grade UAVs with at least some chance of entering service.
