Spouse is not Serebryakova anymore. :sneaky:

She reportedly has a daughter, born 2017, with ballet dancer Igor Zelensky.

An old & ill, - wouldn't make it. Would die on the way or would mysteriously, disappear.

Not to worry... the tractors will just get some more from the Russians.

The one take away of this article is that the Russians needed to change tactics to mirror the Ukrainians rather than using their former WW2 tactics. This attack from the Russians used drones and artillery coordinated with armor to take out the Ukrainian tanks. The Russians are evolving their tactics and capabilities in order to address the situation in Ukraine -- but it took them over a couple months to do so after a devastating level of losses.

  9. Also, it is a grim fact of military reality that when an army tries to move from a defense to a counter attack/counter-offensive phase that the going gets rougher and body counts are going to be higher.

The Ukrainians have aspirations of not only holding the line but moving the Ruskies out of the donbass and re-taking cities such as Kherson. Whoa. Not saying it can't be done but the world is going to have to have a strong stomach for seeing more and more days where everything is not an upbeat story about Ukrainian success. As the natives say, "some days you eat the bear. Some days, the bear eats you.
