  2. No, this is just how your binary mind interprets anything I say that involves any complexity.

Putin is making it up his day to day strategy as he goes along as military operation requires while watching political developments in response. But my comments were around long range goals and plans for his country and his personal goals. And in that regard, both he and Xi are light years ahead of anything going on with leadership in America or Europe. Light years. They have multi-decade goals and don't plan on leaving this earth without accomplishing them. Biden is busy trying to find two socks that match.

Ok because you’re arguing Putin’s long term plans are going well? Kind of a weird argument considering they’re not.

Like I said, keeping some powder dry is probably prudent at this point. Fair minded people can disagree on this. Making knee jerk reactions really is what we are trying to avoid.

You still have not addressed how this is going in Russia or that Putin has 150,000 plus troops sleeping in mud. I think it’s fair to say his original plan was stymied. No wide ranging invasion and opted for a muted incursion. Let those conscripts sit and ravage the Belarus and Russian country side while they spread Covid to one another in the cold. And when the bombs do come then max out the sanctions. I’d rather ensure Putin is blamed for the sanctions in Russia than us.

  4. Putin got the green light long ago...

Trump praises Putin's 'genius' plan to invade Ukraine: 'You gotta say that’s pretty savvy'
Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday called Vladimir Putin a "genius" after the Russian president made moves to take over parts of Ukraine.

Trump made the remarks during an interview with conservative podcaster Buck Sexton.

"I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, 'This is genius,'" Trump recalled. "Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine -- Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful."

"I said, 'How smart is that?'" the former U.S. president continued. "And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That’s the strongest peace force… We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re gonna keep peace all right. No, but think of it. Here’s a guy who’s very savvy."

Trump added: "But here’s a guy that says, you know, 'I’m gonna declare a big portion of Ukraine independent,' he used the word 'independent' and 'we’re gonna go out and we’re gonna go in and we’re gonna help keep peace.' You gotta say that’s pretty savvy. And you know what the response was from Biden? There was no response. They didn’t have one for that. No, it’s very sad. Very sad."

  6. Oh definitely.

Since long ago, Putin's plan was to Russify as much of the former Soviet Union, grab as much territory as he could, to fend off the expansion of Nato, and to be President of Russia forever and a day. Going very well, all things considered, which includes much opposition both domestic and foreign. What, you are going to point out some areas where he has been contained while taking on the rest of the world. Or even domestically he has fended off opponents.

Frigging Biden was sitting on his arse in the Senate for decades and no one can figure what he ever did and if he ever held any view he just adopted another as needed a long the way. Same with those European clowns. Just stumbling from one election to the next. Putin and Xi are working on very long range plans. With great success too within the framework of their own goals.

That's right. I am very Trumpian in that regard in giving credit to leaders who at least love and look out for their own country even if they are at odds with us. How can you respect some clown like Biden who won't even defend the borders of the country he leads and who is supported by voters who pretty much hate the country and all things American.

This is what Putin winning looks like? Come on. He has lost a lot of Eastern Europe, Ukraine was/is a breaking point. It’s now or never for Putin, he has no choice. Invading a country because the freely reject you is called losing.

Your comments on Putin and Xi looking out for their counties is total propaganda. It’s just a great example of how much Russian disinformation has entered right wing media. No reasonable person believes Putin is acting from some point of love. The guy is killing Russians by the hundreds and imprisoning dissident by the thousands, Xi is committing humanitarian crimes against Chinese citizens. Totally crazy stuff coming from you.

  9. Just sayin, even though it is over your head, both Xi and Putin, and the Iranians as well are working lifetime goals and defending their own country and trying to advance its agenda, however jaundiced it might be, which allows them to punch far, far, far above their weight- versus someone like Biden whose concept of being an American is determined by Chuck Schumer and AOC and may or may not have any relationship to what he thought and advocated just months or a few years ago.

You put up that map, but think about how Russia has the entire western world- minimum- on the defensive and scrambling right as we speak. A country that has an economy/gdp less than that of California and I think Texas now as well. Then refer to my comment about them punching above their weight, even if outnumbered in most areas. Whereas Biden has all the power that goes with a powerful country and just squanders the countries power and resources. No border protection, out enemies are laughing at us and attacking us or our allies, and he just flushed our hard-earned energy independenc down the toilet while he grovels with shit-hole countries for more oil.

Gee let’s see now Xi and Putin are authoritarians who have sole control over their nations resources whereas we in America have to go through a democratic process and are subjected to the will of the people, for now at least, and you want to say they are punching above their weight because they can threaten their neighbors with war, oppress minorities and lgtb people and impose free speech restrictions and religious/nationalistic/cultural laws. Come on.

We are in a free society. We obviously don’t have a government that can move as fast as an authoritarian government. Having a dictator like leader in charge does have a multiplier effect in so much that there is very little checks on their power.

You admire the wrong people for the wrong reasons because your morals are all fucked up. Democracy is hard but trust me you don’t want the US to be anything like China, Russia or Iran. It’s so crazy.
