You want to learn the truth about the Putin regime? We can add under that list the 400 innocent Ukrainian civilians that were murdered in Boetsja. The thousands of innocent Ukrainian civilians in Mariupol we can add later. I hope that Gonzalo Lira is really dead. Would be a good riddance.
Interesting. Russian aviation authorities are telling Russian airlines (whatever ones are still managing to fly on falling apart equipment) to prepare to switch navigation to maps etc. vs the GPS systems. It seems that they anticipate US turning off/degrading GPS navigation on Russian territories, and their own GLONASS satellite navigation system due to degradation of their satellite systems are down to 22 working satellites (out of 24 required for full coverage) and no new launches are planned.
Russia aims to seize southern Ukraine and to open a route to the separatist region of Transnistria in Moldova, a senior Russian general says. Maj Gen Rustam Minnekayev specified that Moscow would seek to take "full control" over the south in addition to the eastern Donbas region - the stated objective of the Russian authorities. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-61188943
Yes... this re-alignment of the map -- with Russia owning eastern and southern Ukraine is Putin's latest fantasy. It does not appear that his military forces are capable of making this entire plan happen. As most, he will hold onto a sliver of eastern Ukraine via his military. But this being war, you can never tell.
They have been messing about with the US GPS signals for years showing they can make any receiver think its wherever they want. I recall something about a ship showing it was in St Petersberg or something. Reports they are jamming aircraft gps near Finland. Oddly I was thinking about this last weekend when after looking at some land in Colombia the gps tagging had several of the photos showing coordinates ten kilometers away. The first two were correct, three in the middle massively jumped and then back to normal. I'd never seen this error on the phone before.
There is no Ukraine as it has been known and functioned if you cut it off from the sea. Putin can try his luck in the donbas and then down to Mariupol and down to Crimea as well and probably have success or it is all on a continuum as to what can be negotiated and what Ukraine can swallow hard and live with. Not so with going over to Moldova and cutting Ukraine off from the sea. It also would signal to the nato countries that he is still coming. Finland saw Putin's "if you have russian speakers in your population we are coming to save them." As he is arguing in the donbas and Ukraine and Moldova. I don't think they will be changing their Nato aspirations anytime soon.
Swedish SKF - the biggest bearing manufacturer in the world - said they will not be selling to Russia and are stopping all production in Russia. Russia has very few bearing manufacturers, and none that produce modern bearings required for things like railroad cars. Russians already stopped their tank factories, I guess this is another blow.
