I got a little chuckle out of this because a small matter that had a major impact on Russian failures early on in their invasion was many of the tires on their equipment were rotted from poor storage and maintenance and the Russians lost many vehicles early on simply because of blown tires.

Now the Russian ass buzzers are targeting tire repair shops. They must think rotten tires are a universal problem.

Its a public stunt. Any intelligence agency worth its salt had the unblurred version long ago.

OST INT is about open source amateur intelligence. It's focus is to point out resources where the general public can dig up "intelligence" information. Once it a great while it may post something that is unknown by the intelligence services of major nations but this is rare.

The satellite pictures on Google are months or years old. They may be useful to show the layout of buildings, etc. in a military base but are completely useless for real time intelligence.

Obviously major nations have their own real time spy satellites to get regular images and do not need or use these civilian service satellite images.

  10. I figure they are trying to razz some of those northern cities enough to keep the Ukrainians from thinking that they can shift some of their air defenses to the east now that Kyiv is/was quieter.

There is goin to be a lottt of dead russians and smoking tanks in the coming days and yes the Ruskies probably forget to bring the food or fuel or something basic.

Problem is, there are so damn many of them and the amount of artillery they have compared to the Ukrainians is off the charts- or will be if they it there. Massive.

Russians have a lot of troops and a lot of firepower. Lots of it.

Ukrainians best shot is to get into a drawn out battle of attrition over months and keep stacking up the Ruskie bodies, killing generals day in and day out, and producing more deserters.

    What a needless mess.
