  1. New scientific review punctures myth of missile defense

The study found that US systems wouldn’t be effective against even a limited North Korean attack, let alone a more sophisticated one from Russia or China.

A new study from the American Physical Society, the nation’s leading organization of physicists
, concludes that despite 65 years of efforts and the expenditure of over $350 billion, “no missile defense system thus far developed has been shown to be effective against realistic ICBM threats.” Current and planned systems are incapable of defending the United States against even a limited attack by North Korea. They are even less capable against the more sophisticated weapons fielded by China and Russia.

As the study notes, “the explosion of even a single nuclear warhead over a major U.S. city would be an enormous disaster, potentially killing a million people and reducing 100 square miles to rubble.” None of the defenses produced or deployed by the United States could prevent such a catastrophe.

US companies being attacked repeatedly, including holding their servers hostage until a ransom is paid. Vladimir Putin had a Russian hacker arrested on a US request. That cooperation might not be forthcoming if they sanction Vladimir Putin. Also, the Chinese has more hackers and taken more US company and military secrets but, it is always the Russians being blamed for the hacking? It is China who has advanced fighter jets which are clones of US fight jets. How did they get plans to build those fighter jets? Recently, a Chinese spy caught by the US was just mysteriously, let go without any charges filed?

  3. That is part of Vlad's gameplaying too. Take, the Colonial Pipeline hack, which was clearly done by the Russians. Old Joe leaped right into action and kept going to podium to proclaim that "it came from Russia but there was no evidence that the Russian government was involved. Then Vlad cooperates on the investigation of any hackers in Russia who ARE NOT connected to the government- visibly anyway- as a way to help "cooperate" with the Americans and to proved that it was not the government.

What a crock. Vlad played Biden like the keys on a piano.

The Iranians are pretty good too, but no one tops the Israeli's. Good allies, but I suspect they could be pretty damn mischievous if they were so inclined.
Despite what our in-house tree hugging, ubi desiring, capitalism hating, posters down here in ET politics think in their nauseating naivety... the world outside their secure little bubble is a mean and cutthroat stage upon which the actors actually cherish and defend their own borders above all else.

  5. When this is over there will be articles written about which fell sooner,AFG or Kiev.

In Ukraine they just had some kind of national unity holiday,i read from twitter posts that all gov employees were required to participate, yellow and blue colors everywhere blah blah.
Today first sign of skirmish and Zelensky rushes to the front lines too boost troops morale. This doesn't sound too good,US intelligence must know about it and probably is the reason to tell their citizens to GTFO.

News point to this new bridge from territory of Belarus 80 km to Kiev in a straight line, when Kabul fell country fell so i would not expect any different,Zelensky might find himself soon on the tarmac with suitcases full of dollar bills and maybe leave few of them behind just like the AFG president did,if he is alive that is,there seem to be many fractions in Ukraine.

Average citizen is clearly not supporting this regardless how media potrays the situation, corruption must be everywhere,i read taxes are higher on small business owners-can not be better off than before maidan.

  9. Does not have a good look to it.

Hopefully, he is not leaving with bags of cash. We have seen a bit too much of that of late.

Most likely he will smarten the fuck up in the next hour or so. Even if his intent is on the up and up, he has to keep his game face on for the folks depending on him for leadership.

Let Kamala go to Kyiv if it is supposed to be all about meeting her. Needing to meet Kamala is always suspect. Ain't nobody need to meet with her.

Oops. I see Miss Clairol/Psaki addressing that very question.

Alright, evacuation videos from Russian leaders were recorded two days ago.

Next, Ukraine intelligence is saying Russia has set explosives in infrastructure in Donetsk in order to create a loss of life event of Russian separatists.

    Real nice Russia.

Also, got to give props to Twitter, their translate feature is great. Really shrinks the world.
