Doctors are giving Russian troops returning from the Chernobyl zone glowing reviews. Russian Troops Suffer ‘Acute Radiation Sickness’ After Digging Chernobyl Trenches Several hundred Russian troops reportedly rushed to a special medical facility in Belarus after digging in radioactive soil in a forest near the infamous nuclear plant. https://www.thedailybeast.com/russi...ion-sickness-after-digging-chernobyl-trenches
Bob Van der Voort might be one. Say nothing if your are one Bob. What a load of shit, Argentina etc and very much America is where most of the actual Nazis fled, opportunity and in the case of America the ability to blend into the diaspora.
Correct. Let's not lose track of the fact that Putin's issues with alleged Nazis and the Azov fighters is that they oppose and actively fight against Russians trying to occupy Ukraine both now and throughout the previous eight years of war. Other than that. He does not give a fuck about any deleterious effects that nazi-ism may have on Ukrainian society. I know I am stating the obvious but - in some of the posts here- there is some incremental buying into the idea that Putin is somehow cleansing Ukraine. That's bullshit. If - or should I say "as"- some of Putin's buddies such as the Syrian and Chechnyan scum relocate to Ukraine and if - even after the war- they started running thousands of Ukrainians through a meat grinder in the town square he would be fine with that. Again, his human rights concerns- laughing at that- are just concerns about fighters who oppose his troops and plans to seize Ukraine. Russia also shares a border with a large country callled China. You think Vlad is lying awake at night worrying about all those Uyghar concentration camps and is going to start shelling and invading China because he is the great looker-over to other countries to see who is carrying out human rights violations? Probably fucking not. Keep it real, eh.
Putin made legendary heroes out of the far-right nationalists in Ukraine. The Azov formation's amazing resilience, bravery and the enormous losses they caused Russians around Mariupol have made them unquestioned heroes in Ukraine to all Ukrainians. If before the war a lot of Ukrainians were turned off by the ultra nationalism of Azov, as can be seen by the dismal results of the far-right parties in the election, their performance during the war (thanks to Putin) has made people completely overlook whatever negatives they saw. As I said, Putin's war is absolutely the best thing for the Azov's PR.
It's obvious that the Russian claims they are deescalating are a sham. They are just re-positioning troops to attack elsewhere -- most likely to seize eastern Ukraine with hopes they can hold onto this resource-rich region.
It has been reported that Russian troops have dug and ran tanks through the so-called "Red Forest" area of Chernobyl. Which would put huge clouds of radioactive dust into the air they were breathing. Couldn't happen to nicer guys.
