They both said it. Harris said it in a video and Biden said to ask him after one month. Biden changes his tune, when caught in a lie.
Whatever happened to "speak softly and carry a big stick"? I hope Biden isn't screwing up by talking tough. Is he saying that for the West to hear, or for Putin to hear? Why chide Putin in public, there's nothing to gain. He already knows we'll respond, and even if he didn't there's certainly diplomatic lines of communication that can be used to make NATO's stance perfectly clear. Blabbing in public is never a good idea against a tyrant, unless the tyrant (bully) know's you're a flat out unpredictable. Ie, "my button's bigger". I don't think Biden carries that kind of swag. In all matters war, silence is golden when you hold the upper hand. Which we do. jmho.
There’s also the other side of this that making these statements in public, reassures the Ukrainians and strengthens the alliance. It’s definitely a call that has to be made though and has to weighed out.
Yeah that's true, and also the Russian populace as a whole. Those radio jammers though, like I said, they really should go all Tokyo Rose. Get nasty... : "You're girlfriend back home... do you think she's alone? Oh she says she is, but she's not. Your friends are there for her. Or maybe she found someone new. You sit here in the mud hungry and waiting to die... while she is ****ing because she is lonely and has nothing else to do. Come to our side for we will win. Why do you kill our children? We are your brothers, we will embrace you, feed you, treat you well. Join us and live free. Life awaits you." If I could speak Russian, I would go over there, grab a mic, and go ham. ~Kiev Van.

Rule #1 applies but the Russians are signaling big changes to their plans in Ukraine: It was assessed that after a month the Russians simply did not have supplies to continue fighting. This looks to be true considering Russia is saying it’s changing its focus to securing the gains in the east. The question is, if the Russians do pull back, what does it look like and what will the Ukrainians do?
