    Of course it is.

But exactly what we would do under similar circumstances.

No shorting financial stocks back during '08 mortgage meltdown is one example.

What is the source of this data, out of curiosity?

I collect these when I see them in twitter or telegram. Most are from posts in vkontakte by the killed officers' colleagues or russian newspapers reporting on burials. I don't record below Lieutenant Colonel, there are too many of those.

Example: I added Gashiyatullin today: https://oblast45.ru/publication/45355

Note that the date of death is Feb 28. So they are acknowledging this almost a month later. Who knows how many such deaths are still "pending".

That’s great but the egg is scrambled. Arguing the egg should have never been scrambled in the first place defaults to appeasement.

In regards to the Ukraine, yes. But it also suggests that today's prudence prevents tomorrow's appeasement.

Probably a lot are still pending. Though I'd attribute that to poor communication between Moscow and the oblast in question (Kurgan in this case). Thanks for sharing.

No idea. I just keep my eye on many foreign markets. Especially ones that are noteworthy at the moment.
