This article is so grim in regard to Russian soldiers that I read it with a little bit of caution .....nevertheless........let the viewers decide. There is a major fuck up in progress and it is the guys on the front line that feel the pain as in any war so every word could be on the level too. Just when you think the article could not descend any further, I read this: "Kyiv’s intelligence services have intercepted information suggesting that Moscow may now be seeking to persuade North Koreans to boost its forces." Yeh, nothing bolsters your image before the world like bringing in the North Koreans. What's next? Hutu tribesmen from Rwanda? C'mon man. You think you got a desertion problem now, bring in the North Koreans. Those guys will desert by the pantload and go to another country, any country, get a job at Jack in the Box and be in heaven. They will get a Netflix account, Gilligan's Island reruns. The whole enchilada. Even the North Koreans don't want to die for some stupid war that the Russians don't want to fight when they can see that they are destroying villages where life could be pretty good if everyone just knocked that shiite off. The thing that blows my mind is that frigging Vlad invades the country, turns it into a parking lot and then wants- as part of a settlement- a guarantee that Ukraine will demilitarize. WTF? How bout Ukraine arms to the hilt to prevent this from happening again, and Russia is required to demilitarize? Involving NK soldiers is a good thing, they will finally get a good feed (20 year old russian rations) and NK's because of their non existent news media will believe they are fighting Americans, so they'll be keen to join the fray. Whatever happens, they will be fed into a meat grinder and come out as the educated dead.
The US is the only country that has dropped nukes on cities. And the US also carpet bombed the crap out of Vietnam. The only reason the US didn't carpet bomb or nuke Iraqi civilians was because Iraq was so weak compared to the US that they didn't have to. The US target committee decided the first A-bomb had to kill a city rather than a military target. At the time, American bombers were already firebombing Japanese cities, killing 100,000 with a couple of nukes wasn't a big deal. Talking of dropping nukes on cities, the US set a precedent: the use of Nukes might be justified to end a war and force your opponent to surrender. This means Putin wont go down in history as the first leader to do that kind of thing if he does decide to do it.
It got so quiet after your post. It's a sign of wisdom and humility when we can reflect on our own poor choices and violating others, especially innocent lives. And that's what certain cultures are very poor at, admitting weakness and own past transgressions. It's always the others. No wonder when being brainwashed from birth that there are always only heroes and foes.
