Russia & Ukraine

  1. I am still thinking about it.

Originally, I thought "well the fucker is playing games and moving troops around to rattle his neighbors to get attention on some issues and that is just a common fact of life in international affairs so be pissed and just deal with it."

On the other hand, this is a pretty advanced life threatening operation that has not only rattled a good part of the world but has demolished Ukraine's economy or taken it down several major notches. Then, along the way, I learned/read that we have treaties - maybe we is Nato- with Russia whereby they and we can have training excercises so-called but there are separate notification requirements for various defined levels of troop movement. And Russia has just ignored all of them and complied with precisely none. That ain't right. And they would have a valid issue if we did the same. So there is that for me, because that seems like a valid peacekeeping agreement and I dont like the fucker just circumventing that and then going home as though nothing has happened and "maybe I will do it again next month if I feel like it just to get a rise out of you and test the world for fun again."

Having said that, I probably would not be a stickler on it if we could avoid war, but the difference for me compared to the more dovish, is that that little stunt would go into the memory bank for me and next time you would regret it until you hurt. I would sanction him very early on just for unannounced troop movements that are not in compliance with existing treaties.

Yeah, I don’t know. In the scheme of things we, the west, are winning the larger game and that’s the game Putin is playing. One way or another we’ll get those nukes and then it’s all over for them, transgenders and free elections all the way to the Chinese border.

  3. Vlad always be playing advanced games.

Right now he is trying to find a sweet spot where Nato and the Ukraine are not advancing on to him but that he does not have to get too cozy with the Chinese- and he is doing scary talk with the chinese about getting tighter with them as a way of razzing the west. Except both the chinese and the russians know that they only want to sleep with the other to take care of a specific pieces of business. There is no love there and Vlad knows that if he gets too close to them and lets them in his shop he will be like a goldfish tossed into a shark tank.

I remember reading something once after Gorbachov stepped down and started talking openly with the west. Someone asked him if the Ruskies ever gave serious thought to using nukes on the Americans - and he said "Nooo but we did consider using them against the Chinese a couple times." WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAA. Asked and answered- with bonus info thrown in. Awesome. Keepin it pithy Gorby.

  6. Yeh, well, "reassure allies."

Re-assure them of what? That the Russians are coming. Thanks for that.

Ukraine may not be a member of NATO but it is an ally.

No doubt we will see Kamala with a flak jacket, boots, and helmet shopping at the mall in Kiev.

You know, the types of things she should be wearing and related armament if she were actually talking to the people in the northern triangle who run the place/s.

    • Vladimir Putin's yacht "Graceful" left Hamburg before finishing repairs, German media reported.
    • It is speculated "Graceful" made an abrupt exit to avoid Western sanctions should Russia invade Ukraine.
    • The luxury superyacht is said to be worth at least $100 million.

She can answer "And I haven't been to the border <annoying fucktarded giggle>"

  9. Funny that no one in Russia (or anyone who lived to tell about it) complained that their President who was a former KGB agent (not a former millionaire) has a yacht worth $100 million yet his people mostly starve....

  10. In the US we just call these people climate warriors and all the lefties are okay with it. Being a climate warrior and a "change agent" is hard work so they are entitled to some down time. Everyone understands that.

Climate warrior Bill Gates yacht. Although in fairness, some say it is a rental.
