  1. Can you spell "nearly zero" boys and girls?

    Sberbank
Russia's state-owned Sberbank is a key part of the financial system in Russia, with international and domestic customers. According to Statista, it is the largest Russian bank by assets, nearly twice the size of the next, VTB.

And its shares (in terms of ADRs, or American Depositary Receipts, negotiable securities issued by a bank) in London just nearly hit zero.

The European Central Bank has warned that Sberbank's European arm could fail, and be unable to pay its debts. This of course can hurt other banks in the system too: non-Russian banks that have debts, or other relations with Russian banks.

But, the collateral financial damage in Europe will be nothing compared to the headache that the failure of the state bank would give the Kremlin.

Good news everybody. A no fly zone has finally been established................... by Russia.

(Also -- we need a sarcasm tag in "smiles" symbols).

Let's see what the incompetent Russian Army is up to...

"Their job is to terrorize the population. They're trying to make sure that the cities are shelled, that the people see this kind of shock and they want the city to capitulate. They want to surround it. They want to shell it. They want to starve it, and the Russians then will storm it. This is intentional, and whether these (are)dumb bombs or precision weapons, it doesn't matter."

There are no more paths to victory for russia. The russian army is past culmination, its forces are exhausted, decimated, and demoralized. Ukrainians, with growing confidence, capabilities, and morale have begun offensives to cut of the russian spearheads. These offensives will continue and grow, and if russia does not retreat in the next two weeks it will lose most of its army to death and destruction.

"The war is over for the Ukranians, they have been grounded to bits. No question about that, despite what we report in our main stream media"

  9. So, Putin held a big rally and neither Freddy Foreskin nor Here4Corpses jumped in to say that they saw MAGA hats there.

Let's hope that nothing serious has happened and maybe they just eloped and are honeymooning at a local Airport Marriott.

    Stay strong guys.

There have been reports here and there for the last 12 hours or so. Has not been confirmed completely yet, but - it has been reported by several sources now that a Russian 2-star general Andrey Mordvichev, commander of the 8th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District, has been eliminated in Chernobayevka by the Ukrainian forces.

That would be the highest rank killed yet. And a sixth Russian general killed.
