  2. I dont know the seasons in that region but- let's just say- I have pretty much mastered the concept of how winter begins to fade about this time of year in northern climes- spring sets in a bit. Probably even in Russia.

I say that because their mud season is just a brief window of time- and never really went away for them- thank you climate change- and to the extent that it did- it's gonna get softer and muddier again right off. Particularly in that convoy road area and all that boggy, swampy shiite around Kieve.

So, having said that, all those drones, stingers, javalins, etc are light pieces that can be air dropped or light-trucked in. Whereas the Ruskies are dragging all these heavy duty artillery pieces, supply trucks that are still stuck from just trying to get there the first time, etc. And of course those stingers are sweet when they try to bring in air supplies. And god created mud season to slow vehicles down so you can use a javelin on them. Thank you Lordy.

I heard that Biden was planning to send them the new Switchblades which are some kind of smartbomb/missile or something. I have not studied up and have not read anything so cannot even fake being knowledgeable. But if it is an upgrade replacement to either the stinger or javelin you gotta believe it be useful- if all the bugs have been worked out. Y'all gotta believe that the CIA has been piling trained Americans into the zone for weeks.

  4. But they're slaughtering Russians by the thousands? Sure they are. Only the Ruskies are engaging in propaganda, everyone else pure as the driven snow, believe every word. Ukrainians are putting up a hell of a fight and deserve respect, but these numbers of them killing Russians by the hundreds every day are bullshit.

  6. I hate to say it but i can cheer for the Ukranians and be realistic too.

And if one is realistic, let's just say out of that massive, massive amount of cash suddenly being injected in Ukraine- well- it would not be Ukraine if more than 40%- max- reached its intended purpose.

Possibly because some of the dollars mentioned represent the cost of actual weapons provided that might work out okay where that is the case. They do have a good record of asking for weapons and then actually using them. Same with humanitarian supplies if in the form of supplies. But otherwise, any cash they get, lots of "administrative and processing fees" taken off the top. Ukraine gotta Ukraine. And Ukraine put the K in korruption.

  8. I fully support the people of Ukraine defending themselves. Screw Putin and his army of thugs, but as you are suggesting, it ain't all on the up and up. No war is and the profiteers are drawn to it like flies to shit. So are the propagandists. Everybody pushing something

And it that's the view from the best named poster on ET, stating stuff nobody needs to hear but entirely missing proportion.

Speaking of proportion, today I was demonstrating 20mm rounds. If you think a .50 is a big boy, well it's positively Japanese vs a 20mm.
