The Ruskies are notorious for fake negotiating while still fighting. That's fine as long as the other side -ie. Ukraine- does not let up one iota- during the ruse. Putin will make no decision about what he will accept until he sees how things play out on the ground and he needs another ten days or so for that. Some will argue that Russian troops are not advancing all that much in the north, but that is nothing new to Putin. Where his troops do not advance, his artillery against civilians does. Then he sees what he has gotten out of scorched earth. He needs more time on that. Keep piling the supplies in to Ukraine even if a ceasefire is called. And if one is not called. Just do not let up by even a pubic hair based on anything a russian pig says or just because you are talking.
I say even if Putin pulls back... let the sanctions run and all the targetting of the Russian economy.... we can be as slow and lazy about pulling things back as putin was in finally coming to his senses...
Keep the sanctions until Russia pays reparations for all the damage they done imo.Putin will likely make not paying reparations one of his demands for withdrawing though.

Im probably more optimistic than I should be but at the same time Putin isn’t impervious to pressures coming down on him from everywhere. Sticking this out is like nothing he has ever faced before.
What is giving the Belarusians trepidation is the amount of injured and dead Russians coming into their country on a daily basis. They have these buses running day and night out of a hospital right on the border with Ukraine and it’s nonstop around the clock.
