That being said, I am not in favor of Ukraine being taken into NATO at all for a long time. Even though I would not let the Ruskies dictate what could be possible decades down the road. But Ukraine has massive corruption problems, and also the NATO charter says that countries that are already at war are not eligible which makes a lot of sense to me.
