The promise was stop the war on day 1. Like most of his promises he backpedals and you guys eat it up. Deliver what you said you would deliver, with one phone call. if not STFU and just do your part to help fight this injustice.

Did you ever answer the question? Did Russia invade Ukraine? cmon spit it out.

    1- get tough with Putin
2- supply Ukraine with what it needs
    3- back your Allies
    4- make the mineral deal.
    5- and STFU

I know 1 through 5 are hard for Trump especially 5 but that would be a great start. If not just stay the fuck out of it and focus on MAGA. And again non of the above guarantees anything.

Did Russia invade Ukraine? lol cmon you can do it. Trump won’t know what you answered

  5. Not sure Meloni has changed her mind. In the first instance she is rejecting the idea of sending troops to Ukraine as the Brits and France are talking about. Either as helping to fight on with Ukraine or as peacekeepers afterward.

In the second instance, she is talking about establishing some kind of alternative collective security agreement, whereby Ukraine does not become a NATO member but if a peace and ceasefire is established and military forces withdrawn, Russia would face a collective response if they invaded Ukraine. She is still working on that part so I cannot articulate it for her. But I don't believe she has even remotedly changed her mind about not wanting to send Italian troops to Ukraine now or as part of a peacekeeping force.

Where Putin will have problems in his future plans is that Ukraine will enter into a security agreement with Poland, at a minimum, and then the U.S. and Europe will arm Poland - although Poland and Ukraine themselves are plenty capable of developing massive arms themselves. That would be a formidable resistance. They would not be able to beat Russia as is the case now but it would Putin back into the situation where a 3-day war is not going to happen. It would be another long slog. So to avoid this, Putin will now want NATO ruled out but also ruling out arming western friendly nearby neighborts, etc. etc. At a certain point his demand becomes too much and not something that Trump can even make happen. Poland is very tight with Trump so they will flex along with him but not to the point of making themselves more vulnerable to the Russian bear.

The latest ISW report highlights a major escalation in Russia’s offensive, with one of the largest combined missile and drone attacks since November 2024. Over 67 missiles and 194 Shahed drones were launched, aiming to overwhelm Ukraine’s air defenses. While many were intercepted, critical infrastructure in several regions suffered damage. Russia is clearly adapting its tactics, increasing the scale of drone swarms to strain Ukraine’s defense systems. The question remains—how long can Ukraine sustain this level of resistance without additional international support?
