I'm glad you've got it all figured out. I was just continuing our conversation where you suggested Russians would all go to work on an oil rig once western companies left, and I told you that no, they would just go to work for all the Chinese companies that took the place.

You should not rely on your memory. Try going back and rereading for clarity.

I don’t know what our exposure is here but combined with Shell ceasing Russian ties this has to be a significant disruption…

Anyone have any idea how much oil Venezuela can put into the market immediately and per month?

Biden forced into banning Russian imports.

He desperately didn't want to do it.

This will keep gas prices and inflation very elevated for the rest of year.

The Democrats are going to get killed in the November elections.

Enough to fill the gap from Russia - just enough - without further development (if we took it all). The problem is the type of oil - it has a lot more sulfur content and - while I am not positive - needs a particular refinement. Russian oil is like Brent or WTI and very heavy (good for production).

    Remember Hungary in 1956?
    Remember Czechoslovakia in 1968?

All the government leaders and people wanted was freedom from oppression under the Soviet Russian thumb. They cried out for help from the West to protect them. The response - a brutal Soviet Russian military invasion of these countries and complete brutality towards the civilians. While NATO leaders failed to step up because they did not want to "escalate" the conflict. Well, we have arrived as these crossroads again. Add another one to the list.

    Ukraine in 2022.

Ah that explains it, religious maniac, probably teetotal knowing the Holy-Joe's in Ireland. Not drinking disturbs the mind, same with the Muslims.

Hard to tell tactical diplomacy from cowardice at times with the Catholic Church. Their argument has been that they don't take sides and try to work on the back channels but now everything is a reality TV show thanks to talk radio then social media brains are rotted.
