Steel mill doing 20% of the production in Russia bombed tonight: https://kyivindependent.com/russias...-raid-largest-steel-mill-reportedly-targeted/
NPCs who told us Russia would be financially bankrupt by now and split into multiple countries are mad that they were wrong, and that sending millions into the meat grinders wasn't the way to accomplish peace.
Hegseth is either a pushover or a Putin pawn. Picture this scenario. Trump is still living in his Trump Plaza triplex. A home invasion occurs at his premises, and the invaders become squatters. Enter Hegseth, who studies the matter and concludes that Trump maintaining all three floors of his triplex apartment is an "unrealistic objective." Idiot!
Lol you can't have it both ways. At the extremes, either the sanctions did what they were supposed to, and removing them will therefore have an impact, or they didn't do anything and removing them has no impact. As for running out of money, that's your bias speaking. We have absolutely no intent of letting Russia rape Europe. https://bsky.app/profile/antongerashchenko.bsky.social/post/3li34buhg4k2b The UK, Poland, and the Nordics/Baltics alone together have 4x Russia's GDP - before the recent North-Koreanization/Sovjetization of the Russian economy. Trade requires having something other countries want. Clearly, the world does want Russia's natural resources, and a few countries stuck in their propaganda bubble might want their shitty military hardware. There's little else they produce of value, and it's on a decline when everything has been re-routed to support the military effort. So yeah, loosening sanctions will have an impact in my estimation, but it won't restore Russia's economy to former glory either.
I never said it would restore them to their former "glory", whatever that even means. But we shall see how long Europe's "We're coming to the rescue" works out. I'm sure one of us will be back in this thread to talk about it to the other.
