it's widely know Ukraine negotiated in bad faith prior war and during initial phase, stalled negotiations to get more time to get weapons and then abruptly exited when Boris Johnson visited

so when in doubt wiki is wrong by default

It is a strange phenomenon, but the truth seems to have a liberal bias.

 

Russia removed its army from Kiev and north regions as goodwill gesture.

After that Ukrainians staged Butcha massacre as one of pretext to exit peace negotiations

Russia was never intended to take ukraine - they would immediately pull off if ukraine negotiated in a good faith.

In the west it was considered as a weakness so USa and UK decided to escalate war thinking it's easy win

For Ukrainians the main incentive to continue war is billions dollars west provides without any control so ukraine has no incentive to negotiate no matter how badly it loses. War likely will end with complete Ukraine collapse and with hundreds of ukrainian multi billionaires in the west
