Attack on military airbase near Moscow: Lots of unconfirmed reports about captured villages and deeper advances in several places in Kursk and Belgorod oblasts, but I will wait a bit for a summary.
With my usual caveat that I acknowledge that the Ukrainians are screwed blue and tattooed in a David and Goliath situation, I will nevertheless say: Ruskies are having a bad day. Foreign troops on Russian soil for the first time since WW2 is not easy to digest for them. In such times, I like to watch Babushka Skabeeva sweat a little. She always looks like she needs a good bonking- except only a drunken Ruskie would bonk her. Fortunately for her though, there is no shortage of drunken Ruskies in her area. The funny thing is, Olga was getting a report from the front lines and the guy on the front put on a good face but toward the end it started to do downhill and Olga was grimacing a bit too much. So I thought "uh oh" it is usually about this time that Russian TV "loses their connection." Then boom. Right on schedule they lose connection. After a while you know how the Ruskies work and what the dance looks like. The government monitors all those programs and just shuts them out when interviews go downhill. You know, pretty much like what CNN does. It is not just Kursk. The Russians are also evacuating Belgorod or the civilians anyway. Regular viewers may recall that I have for almost two years called for taking out Belgorod. It is major staging area, logistics and supply center and central command center for the whole frigging donbass and south region. Burn it to the fucking ground as soon as you can.
