https://www.theguardian.com/world/a...im-to-destabilise-russia-with-kursk-incursion We are on the offensive. The aim is to stretch the positions of the enemy, to inflict maximum losses and to destabilise the situation in Russia as they are unable to protect their own border.
'Russia had suggested that several hundred Ukrainian troops had launched a surprise attack on Tuesday, but the Ukrainian official said the numbers were larger. Asked whether more than 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers were involved, the official said: “It is a lot more … Thousands.”'
Yeah first it was "100 men" and now "1000" according to stupidly conservative estimates. I'd assume a couple of tens of thousands. The milblogger I'm following suggests a pattern from the Kupiansk sprint will repeat where initially it will go slowly, but as Russian defenses collapse a progress of several tens of km/day or so will be achieved. Speculation with a lot of assumptions, though.
Russia is trying to claim Ukraine shelled the nuclear power plant hitting the cooling system facility.
I wonder if Moscow accessible from here or blocked off? Imagine thousands of Ukrainian soldiers bringing the fight to the city of Moscow with guerilla-style warfare.
