Trump Said 'Take the Oil' From Iraq. Trump stands alone on this specific war policy even within his party. Even one of his supporters said is a bad idea. At Wednesday night’s Commander-In-Chief Forum, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said that the United States should "take the oil" out of Iraq, an idea he's expressed before for that war-torn country and other conflict zones.
To pay for the costs we incurred liberating them from Saddam. Not to take the oil for the US. You need to start being honest with yourself and others. Your postings are twisted at best.
It's amusing to see you claiming someone's posts are twisted when we review your posts. Yeah... the fact checks all obviously show that Trump supported the war in Iraq.
Stop using "we". You don't speak for anyone but yourself around here. You do this all the time with "show us" or "we" like you're speaking for a group of lunatics like yourself. Your intent, of course, is a psychological game to make the person you speaking to feel isolated. But anyone with an IQ over 100 should be able to see that. If you disagree with someone, say it proud, man. Grow some balls. Stop pretending there's a "we". and by the way, I don't agree with BLSH here either.
Although it is a bit of an obscure story right now, I think it is noteworthy- as I mentioned in passing the other day- that Kazakhstan/sp is distancing itself bigtime from Putin over this matter and they are supposed to be a Putin buddy. K-stan has refused Putin's request to send troops to Ukraine, they have refused to recognize the breakaway provinces in Ukraine and they are sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine. NOT THE WAY THE SCRIPT IS SUPPOSED TO GO. This hurts Putin bigtime in his relations with China too because China's playbook is to have the west alienate Putin, then Russia becomes more dependant on China and China uses Vlad's alleged closeness and tighness with the Central Asian states to help China exploit/increase its control in Central Asia. WOMP!!!! Otherwise, they think Puting is the village idiot and the junior partner in any agreements with China. If Vlad loses influence in Central Asia what does he bring to the table? Just oil. And now Russia is too poor to continue to help Venezuela revitalize its oil production- the largest oil reserve in the world. But China and the US do have the dollars to go down that road with VZ. Okay, enough. Just felt like sticking a few things up Putin's arse.
Since you are obviously pushing nonsense... Let's review the reality again. Fact check: Trump falsely claims, again, to have opposed the invasion of Iraq https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/29/poli...-false-claim-opposed-iraq-invasion/index.html Donald Trump and the Iraq War A timeline of Trump statements about the Iraq war, before and after it started, from September 2002 to December 2003. https://www.factcheck.org/2016/02/donald-trump-and-the-iraq-war/ Trump repeats wrong claim that he opposed Iraq War https://www.politifact.com/factchec...rump-repeats-wrong-claim-he-opposed-iraq-war/
And when a right thinking person reads that, they see that Trump did not support the war whatsoballsout. Pinning your narrative on "Yeah-I guess" is not a very strong way to go.
Here he is saying ....''We kept the Syrian oil'' , was that to liberate the Syrians from Saddam also? Trump echoes one of his favorite lies: 'We kept the oil' Trump's insistence that the U.S. "kept" Syrian oil is quickly becoming one of his favorite lies, but its repetition does not make it any less false. During Donald Trump's town-hall event on Fox News last night, the president turned his attention to the Middle East, where he thinks he has a positive story to tell. "[W]e did leave soldiers [in Syria]. We left soldiers because I kept the oil. And I was always against Iraq -- going into Iraq. I think it was one of the worst -- maybe the worst decision ever made. But I used to say, once they were in there, keep the oil. They never kept the oil. We have an oil area in -- near Syria and in Syria, we kept it. So the only soldiers I have over there, they're guarding the oil. We kept the oil. So we kept the treasure. That's OK." The idea that Trump was "always against" the 2003 invasion of Iraq is clearly one of his favorite lies, but its repetition does not make it any less ridiculous.
