I cant say I am not in favor of that, but who Governs Russia
The Chechen's will take over some parts and harbor Muslim terrorists.
Certainly China will go after the valuable raw materials and the arctic circle in Siberia
    Japan will take some islands
North Korea will cross the Russian border to grab some land

This would create a mess to much for Biden to handle

"russia" is an artificial building based on violence and suppression.

why has it become that large at all?

some say "russia's biggest problem is, that it doesn't know its borders."

    p. will die some day - one way or another.

    and then ... whatever.

Right, right. So, without asking the obvious about the same prediction that was made at the start of the war with Ukraine about how Russia would implode quickly, lets just focus on your prediction.

A year? Surely that falls in the "can't take very long" category, right?

when it all started, the only question was - how many days or weeks can ukraine resist.

(since the rest of the world thought russia had the second biggest / strongest army on the planet.)

    meanwhile ...

LOL... Russia needs its weapons back. How about "No".

Russia asks other countries to return weapons sold to them – WSJ
    https://news.yahoo.com/russia-asks-other-countries-return-191743121.html

Russia is trying to get back some of the weapons it exported to countries such as Pakistan, Egypt, Belarus and Brazil.

Source: The Wall Street Journal with reference to sources

Details: Three sources told The WSJ that last April, a delegation of Russian officials who visited Cairo asked Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to return more than a hundred engines from Russian helicopters that Moscow needed for its war against Ukraine.

Sisi has agreed, and deliveries of about 150 engines are likely to begin next month, sources say.

Quote from WSJ: "Those talks were part of a larger Russian push to seek help from its longtime arms customers, who for decades bought Russian aircraft, missiles and air-defense systems, making Moscow the world’s second-largest arms exporter.

Throughout the year, Russia held talks with officials from Pakistan, Belarus and Brazil to try to acquire engines for the Russian attack and transport helicopters its forces lost to Ukrainian defenses early in the war."

More details: Two sources, including a former Russian intelligence officer, told The WSJ about this. The source reports that Russia is secretly trying to buy back what it sold to its "customers" earlier.

In addition, Russia has sacrificed part of its lucrative "arms export business" because of the war. In particular, weapons intended for India and Armenia are now being sent to the contact zone in Ukraine, as the sources note.

Quote from WSJ: "Much of Moscow’s efforts to buy back Russian arms have come as the Kremlin pushed back against an offensive by Ukraine’s forces in the east and south of the country. With that offensive now slowing, Russia is seeking to retake the initiative on the battlefield, although it is unclear whether the new supplies will give Moscow the resources it needs to step up its attacks."

The opposite is true. While, the US thru its numerous sanctions to weaken Russia has actually, strengthened Russia. Most of the extreme liberal media will tell you Russia is imploding. The oppose is true. It is the US and Europe who is suffocating from the sanctions as it united China, Russia, India, Brazil and South Africa for starters in the BRICS economic bloc. They comprise the majority of people in the world with Saudi Arabia, African countries, etc. not far behind. The only thing the US has of Russia is the $600 billion in US dollar reserves that the US has frozen. Even Brussels has released Russian gold reserves they have. US and Europe's economies being destroyed with China and Russia moving to decouple from the US dollar. If Russia has been ruined economically, they would have no monies to upgrade all their weapons systems from tanks, helicopters, fighter jets, missiles, multiple rocket systems, artillery, drones, S400 missile defense systems. Russian factories are manufacturing heavy weapons and ammo 24/7 non-stop. Take note too that Russia is fighting Ukraine plus 30 other countries all at once. Ukraine being the proxy, sacrificial lamb. Russia is still winning.

That ship has sailed. Russia is much stronger now, economically and militarily compared to the start of the Ukraine war. Also, Russia is just fighting one war. US has the Ukraine war (proxy war), possibly war with Hezbollah and Iran (2nd war) and even another war coming with China. US has a $30 trillion dollar deficit which is rising, dollar is falling like a rock and 3 wars to deal with? US cannot fight and win 3 wars all at once. And if the Iranians or Chinese manage to hit US aircraft carriers with their long range anti-ship missiles, US is deep trouble. Remember the Ukrainians sank the Movska Russia warship with a harpoon anti-ship missiles given by the UK. Just one missile. They estimate 2 US aircraft carriers lost in a war with China, probably, a rosy estimate but, whatever. A US admiral on You Tube said the US will lose 900 pilots in a war with China. That should be frightening.

Russia lost 50% of its military since the start of the Ukraine war... and it only cost 4% of the U.S. defense budget to do so. This is hardly the definition of a stronger military.

Likewise the Russia ruble and economy is now a complete disaster due to the Ukraine war -- with no possible recovery for at least a decade. There is an entire thread dedicated to the Russian economic fiasco - https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/the-demolition-of-russias-economy.365475/
