The idea that people are intelligent and interested in the things that impact their lives blows your mind huh? Yeah, you probably spent a little too much time in Russia.

Tell me, do you think DeSantis is incapable of understanding more than one issue? What does that say about people in positions like governor, senator, or even president? Are they incapable of doing jobs that require informed judgements on an array issues ranging from healthcare to war?

The truth is that a lot of people are dumb and their judgments are faulty because they cannot process large amounts of information on one subject, let alone many subjects. And, yes, the Internet has given dumb people a megaphone. So in way your criticism is right, there are a lot of dumb people with a lot of dumb opinions. But intelligent people can certainly be nimble and have informed opinions on a great many topics easily.

It's a worldwide phenomena. Covid-denier promoters suddenly come crawling out of the closet as Putin propagandists.

Let's take a closer look at one of Putin's claims...

This is just like when our resident Ruskie argued that Putin’s speech was magnificent. Obviously there’s a little bit of truth in the neo nazi argument. There is a neo nazi political wing in Ukraine and they hold 3 of the 450 seats in the Ukrainian parliament, or whatever it’s called.

But we have neo nazis here in America. We recently had a sitting congresswoman attend a white supremacy event and spoke there too.

The story special Russian unit sent to assassinate Zelensky. The most interesting part is the claim that rouge individuals in the Russian Federal Security Service tipped the Ukrainians off.

Kyiv's Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksiy Danilov, said the unit was closely followed since dropping into Ukraine, and has been neutralised

  8. So you are now requiring the Constitution be ameneded to require military service before anyone can serve in Congress? So no one at all in the entire U.S. government can ever advocate military action if they never have served?

This seems quite extreme. So if Biden never served but someone attacks us, he cannot advocate military strikes because he never served...

I think all Tony is saying is that its easy to be sitting behind a keyboard calling for military force against a nation. But your talk is just cheap if your advocating for someone else to die when you are able to sign up.
