There are a number of sites popping up the McAfee ad "warning" over the past month. It is an absurd way to advertise because it pisses off the consumer --- who will then not buy the product but also will be unlikely to return to the website. What are these idiots in the advertising world thinking -- do they believe people having negative impressions of a product or advertiser is helpful. I will note that I tried to go to the site several times and am not seeing the ad pop-up. This may not reflect the experience of others simply because it is probably set to pop-up 1 in 10 or 1 in 20 page views.

EXPLAINED: Why the Return of Boyko Towers to Ukrainian Control Matters So Much Since the outset of the full-scale invasion, Russia has used the oil platforms expressly for military purposes, such as helipads and the placement of maritime and naval radar surveillance equipment. https://www.kyivpost.com/post/21513
So Little NK Kim is heading to meet Prez PooPoo and I read this quote attributed to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov: "The talks will focus on bilateral ties, Peskov said. “As with any of our neighbors, we feel obliged to develop good, mutually beneficial relations,” he added." LOL
(Semafor) The battle for Hostomel Airport In the opening hours of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, elite Russian paratroopers flew in to try to capture Hostomel Airport, 12 miles from Kyiv. The idea was to use it as an air bridge, to land large transport planes full of troops to take the capital, capture President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and force Ukraine’s surrender. It was a tactic Moscow’s armed forces had used several times before, three military academics write in War on the Rocks. Ukraine, expecting an attack in the east, had left the airport largely undefended, with just 200 reservists and rear-echelon troops, their leaders “more akin to finance officers than infantry officers.” But in “arguably the most critical battle of the Russo-Ukrainian war to date,” the outnumbered, outgunned defenders delayed the capture sufficiently for regular troops to arrive and retake it. That action forced Russia into a slow, grinding conflict and may have fundamentally changed the course of the war.
True to life but without the price tag: The decoy weapons Ukraine wants Russia to destroy https://edition.cnn.com/2023/09/11/world/ukraine-russia-decoy-weapons-intl/index.html I knew about these but said nothing until it was in the media. Silly Russia.
It might sound like truth. But then you realize 5 million Ukrainian went to Russia Plus Every Ukrainian men is a hostage for Ukrainian government and most of them try to escape whatever it takes When you consider those 2 things you obviously realize who is genocidal murders. But I agree with you then no compromise to genocidal murders
Seems optimistic. After all, didn't GWB post there were Ukrainians survivors of a tank attack recently? Unless they were fake Ukrainians, eh? Anyway, we have been using flying drones and have self-driving capability for land vehicles. Perhaps we can send the Ukrainians some Teslas with motion activated machine guns? Grin.
