It does with Biden and the European clowns. Last spring we were a year into the war and they were just meeting on how to develop more homegrown 155mm sources. Now they are just getting around to feeling happy about bringing it online by the end of the year. They are exactly where they should have been a year ago. Industries would not commit to a build unless government would commit to a volume upfront. Round and round they went. With everyone second guessing how long the war would last and did we really need to get into all of that. Anyway, the Ukrainians are following the right tactic for what they have to work with. Air defenses are triggered every day now every day now down at the kerch bridge. The Ukrainians are trying to diffuse the Russian forces by threatening Crimea and by threatening Moscow and Russian homeland to get paranoid Vlad to place more resources in Moscow and also up the road from Ukraine in Belgorod. And to keep fighting in Bakhmut to keep those forces from redeploying to the land bridge. That is a proper tactic for what they have to work with. Russians are on defense so that gives them the advantage. All the clown show stuff we have seen has been when they are attempted offense. Take the bridge down and work with the Russian freedom fighters to keep Putin spread thin while probing for the best spot to breach the line. Then get into a stalemate hold-the-line position when the land bridge is severed. Because every day that it is severed is an active victory that will keep on giving even without further troop or territory advance.
If the backlash gets too messy it may have the unintended consequence of Biden reducing their use and giving Ukraine higher end weapons instead in some areas, with the idea that maybe it is better to piss of Vlad than to piss off the allies. Maybe that is okay too.
Ukrainians are actively trying to take the Kerch bridge down again. The Russians are able to intercept missiles so far but it is a full time job for them now. Only takes one missile to get through. We know that the Ukrainians have big problems, but nevertheless, they will take Bhakhmut sometime in the next three weeks, and the Russians consider Bhakhmut to be a huge propaganda win for them....so far. And the Kerch bridge is likely to either come down or be seriously interrupted as it is already. If the Ukrainians take Bakhmut and the bridge comes down, Moscow will not be able to pretty that up on the home front. Ukrainian missile attack forces Putin's Kerch bridge to close A Ukrainian missile attack has forced a major crossing linking Russia to annexed Crimea to shut temporarily. Traffic was halted in both directions of the Kerch Bridge after Russian air forces said they had shot down a rocket in the area. Ukraine used a ‘modernised missile from an S-200 complex with a range of about 250 miles, the Russian thinktank Rybar reported. The weapon was downed on the Kerch – or Crimean – side of the 10-mile bridge on Sunday, reports say. Ukrainian missile attack forces Putin's Kerch bridge to close (msn.com)

This happened some hours after Ukrainian GUR published a short cryptic video with words "Retribution is nigh".
Remember Scott Ritter, the continual sex offender with all sorts of anti-western opinions after his failed weapons inspector career. Let's see how his commentary on Ukraine aged.
